SMO BASKETBALL LEAGUE SEASON 2! 🏀🔥

The first game of SMO Basketball League Season 2 was a success! Two exciting games were completed with Christ in every heart, sportsmanship in every play, and our guidelines followed with pride. 🙏🏀

This season, we are reminded that basketball is more than just winning—it is an opportunity to build friendships, strengthen character, and reflect Christ through our actions.

Pass the ball with strength.
Dribble with humility.
Interact with other players with love.
Shoot with compassion.
Defend with integrity.
Compete with respect.
Celebrate with humility.
Win with grace and accept defeat with courage.
Encourage one another, even in the toughest moments.
And above all, play with Christ at the center.

Prayer Gathering 🤍🕊️

Tonight, we gathered not only to remember a life well lived but to celebrate the beautiful legacy of our beloved Club Pastor, Kuya Ruby.

As a family, we shared the memories that will forever remain in our hearts—his kindness, his laughter, his unwavering care, and the love he showed to everyone he met. We spoke of how he encouraged us in ministry, lifted our spirits during difficult times, and reminded us that serving Christ is always worth it.

Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we found comfort in one another's stories and in God's promises. Together, we lifted the bereaved family in prayer, asking the Lord to surround them with His peace, strength, and unfailing love during this season of sorrow.

This gathering reminded us that while death separates us for a time, it can never erase the impact of a life faithfully lived for Christ.

Thank you, Kuya Ruby, for loving, serving, and inspiring us. Your ministry continues through the lives you have touched.

With deep sorrow, the School of Theology Family of South Philippine Adventist College extends its heartfelt condolences to the family, loved ones, and friends of Ruby Olediana.

Ruby was an active 4th Year AB-Theology student who faithfully served the Lord through various ministries. His dedication to Christian service, his willingness to minister to others, and his commitment to preparing for God's work have left a meaningful impact on the School of Theology family.

While we grieve his passing, we find comfort in the blessed hope of Christ's soon return and the promise of the resurrection for those who rest in Him.
On behalf of the School of Theology Family, we offer our sincere prayers and deepest sympathies. May the Lord surround his family with His love, comfort, strength, and peace during this time of sorrow.

SMO Statement:
Today, the Student Ministerial Organization SMO mourns the passing of one of our own, Bro. Rubbie Olediana.

Bro. Rubbie was a faithful servant of God, a 4th Year Theology student, an active SMO Club Pastor, and a committed member of our Prayer Ministry. Through his leadership, humility, and dedication, he faithfully served God, the church, and the S**C community. Beyond ministry, he was a loving husband, a devoted father to his two children, and a brother in Christ whose life inspired many.

This morning, our hearts were deeply saddened by the news of his unexpected passing due to a tragic motorcycle accident. Though words cannot fully express our grief, we choose to hold on to the blessed hope found in Jesus Christ. We believe that death is but a temporary rest until the glorious resurrection morning.

As one SMO family, we invite everyone to join us in prayer as we remember Bro. Rubbie's life of faithful service, lift up his family during this difficult time, and find strength in God's promises.

SMO BASKETBALL LEAGUE SEASON 2 DRAFT OFFICIALLY BEGINS

Excitement filled the room as members of the Student Ministerial Organization SMO gathered for the SMO Basketball League Season 2 Draft 2026.

The draft officially assigned players to their respective teams, marking the start of a new season of friendly competition.

Organized to promote unity, teamwork, and Christian fellowship, the event brought together students from different churches and backgrounds, demonstrating how sports can strengthen relationships while encouraging discipline, camaraderie, and faith-centered values.

SABBATH OF SERVICE AND UNITY

Members of the Student Ministerial Organization (SMO) spent a meaningful Sabbath serving in different churches, united by one faith, one purpose, and one mission—to share the love of Christ and minister to His people. Despite being assigned to various congregations, the members demonstrated dedication, compassion, and a spirit of service, bringing encouragement and inspiration to the churches they visited. The organization remains committed to answering God's call, supporting one another, and continuing His mission with grateful hearts.

A Sabbath well spent of SMO with so much joy and gratitude in our hearts!

Even though we come from different churches and backgrounds, spending this sacred time together reminded us that we are truly bound by one heart, one purpose, and one mission.

What a beautiful reminder that when God brings us together to serve and lift each other up, incredible things happen! As we step into the new week, may the peace and joy of this Sabbath stay with us, renewing our strength and reminding us that we walk this journey together. Here’s to keeping the light shining and moving forward as one!

We praise God for their commitment and service, many were blessed because of their willingness to serve the Lord.

Today marks more than just SMO orientation—it is the shaping of servants who have answered God's call with, "Here am I; send me." As Student Church Pastors, Evangelists, and Branch Sabbath School Teachers, they gather not merely to learn a position, but to embrace their role as a sacred calling.

May this equip them not only with knowledge, but with Christlike character, humble hearts, and unwavering faith, that in every church they serve, God may be honored, His people faithfully shepherded, and souls lovingly led to Christ.

May every step they take in ministry begin with surrender, be sustained by grace, and end in His glory.
