With deep sorrow, the Ministry of Altar Servers - SJP Matalom mourns the passing of one of our dearest brother yesterday.

In this time of grief, we stand with his family in prayer and share in their loss. We ask St. Joseph and St. Tarcisius, patron saints of altar servers, to welcome their faithful servant into God’s Kingdom.

The memories of our shared service will be forever cherished. Until we meet again, Michael John.

Eternal rest grant unto Michael John, O Lord; may he serve now in your heavenly courts as he did here on Earth.

ON THIS DAY | We commemorate the Death Anniversary of Rev. Fr. Leonardo Celis Diaz The First Parish Priest of Matalom

A short history:
In honor of father diaz his remains was transferred to the front of the church facade in November 18,1988. On the same year, it was his 100th death anniversary. Until today his statue will be seen at the front of the Church.
