📣 | To our dear youth participants, we want to inform you that our upcoming Youth Camp, "Built to Stand" (based on Colossians 2:6-7), originally scheduled for this coming May 20-21 for the Matalom Chapter, has been temporarily postponed. Please don't be discouraged, take a deep breath, and rest easy knowing that this decision was made with your absolute comfort and safety in mind. Though our schedules may have shifted, God's perfect timing never does, and this brief pause only means we are preparing an even more powerful and deeply encouraging experience tailored just for our local chapter. We encourage everyone to keep your hearts expectant, stay rooted in faith, and hold tight for further announcements regarding our new dates. We cannot wait to gather, fellowship, and grow stronger together as one Matalom family—see you all very soon! 🔥💖

📣 | Calling all MFC Youth in West Leyte! It is time to deepen our foundations and prepare our hearts for a greater mission. We are officially inviting you to the Youth Camp Training happening this May 3, 2026, at the SJP Convent in Matalom, Leyte, starting at 1:00 PM onwards.

As we prepare to serve other youths in our upcoming camps, we look to our theme verse for guidance: "So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness" (Colossians 2:6-7). This training is a vital opportunity for us to grow together in leadership and faith, ensuring that as we reach out to others, we are firmly grounded in Him.

Let’s unite as one West Leyte community and get ready to be the light for others. See you there! 💖

We are still absolutely on fire with the love of Christ after everything we experienced at the World Youth Congress 2026 in Baguio City! ⛰️🔥

To keep that flame burning, we gathered earlier today for a Thanksgiving Mass to offer all the success and memories back to the Lord. It was such a powerful event where we truly took our theme verse, Colossians 2:6-7, to heart—striving to stay "rooted and built up" in Him. We are so grateful for the incredible collaboration with the Matalom Commission on Youth (MACOY) Matalom Commission On Youth and the Ministry of Altar Servers of Saint Joseph Parish Ministry of Altar Servers - SJP Matalom for making this mission possible.

We also offered a special prayer of thanks for all our generous sponsors whose support allowed our delegates to have this life-changing encounter. Our hearts are overflowing, and we can’t wait to share this love with everyone back home! 🙌✨
