AGBAY
More than a name- it is a mission. Rooted in the Minasbate word "agbay," which means to place your hand on someone's shoulder, to stay close, to say "I am here".

This is an expression of CFC’s commitment to its mission. We recognize that supporting a child’s education is one of the most meaningful ways to uplift a family and community living in difficulty. Through this, we were able to reach students from Godofredo Ramizo Sr. Elementary School and share a simple gesture of love.

To everyone whom God used to make this possible, from our brothers and sisters in CFC Masbate & Mandaon, to our brothers and sisters in CFC Laguna whose love crossed islands to reach us, to everyone who extended a helping hand, and to every person in the community who showed up in their own way- thank you. God saw every act of generosity, big and small.

What a God we have! This is not the end. Until the next AGBAYan.

𝗜𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵- 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱, 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗴𝗹𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗻. And so it was.
When the King ordains a gathering, He does not send His people home the same.
It was not by chance that you were there. It was by appointment. And in the middle of the laughter, the missions, the conversations that went deeper than planned, and the quiet moments nobody scheduled but everybody needed- God uncovered who you really are.
Not who the world says you are. Not who your insecurities have convinced you to be. Not the version of yourself you perform for the approval of others. But who God- in His wisdom, in His intentionality, in His love that existed before you took your first breath - designed you to be.

The retreat is over. But what God planted here does not end here.
Let it grow and move. Let it show up in the way you live your ordinary Mondays. In the way you lead, the way you love, the way you carry yourselves in a world that desperately needs people who know who they are and whose they are.
