Happy Altar Servers Month!

Serving the Lord is a fun experience that benefits us and others. As altar servers, our role is not just about going to church every sunday; it’s about embracing a calling that brings us closer to God and other people. We assist during Mass, helping to create a space of that allows others to experience God's presence more deeply.

The joy in serving comes from knowing that our actions help to something much greater than ourselves. We are not just fulfilling a role but participating in a holy mission, which brings a sense of faith and purpose.

Serving the Lord is fun because it allows us to
show our faith actively. We grow spiritually, build meaningful relationships, and become part of a community. Our purpose as altar servers is to honor the Lord through our works, and embody the love and commitment that define our faith.

ST. HELENA

O Holy and blessed Saint Helen, with anguish and devotion with which You sought the Cross of Christ, I plead that you give me God's grace to suffer in patience the labour of this life, so that through them and through your intercession and protection , I will be able to seek and carry the Cross, which God has placed upon me, so that I can serve him in this life and enjoy his glory ever after. Amen.

O Immaculate heart of mary, as we begin this month with your intercession, may we be granted the gift of humility, that we may recognize our own limitations and seek your guidance and protection throughout our journey. May your pure and Immaculate Heart be our refuge and our sanctuary, where we can find solace and peace in the midst of life's challenges.

Yesterday, July 27, 2024, the Altar Servers Council conducted a meeting with a small twist of formation for the aspiring youths to become an Altar Servers in parish of St.Anthony of Padua Cathedral. The said meeting was conducted by their Sac.Mayor- Arnold Letada, John Steve Marfiga-Secretary, and Rennorville Maristela their Coordinator, The agenda was to implement the proper role of being a good example to youths, other than that, the council also taught them about the Liturgical colors and symbols about the mass. By the initiative of the Altar Servers Council Ministry and by of their members, the Aspirants are now able to move inside the mass starting on this day.

Maayo na Gab-i mga Brothers na interesado na maging aspirants sa Altar Servers of Saint Anthony Cathedral, bwas po na 2:00 PM, mag kakaigwa po kita san meeting sa Cathedral Session Hall.

Adi po sa gihapon an qualifications:
-lalaki
-grade 4 hasta college
-willing mag undergo formation kada sabado
-willing magserve sa Ginoo kag sa Simbahan

Maayo na adlaw mga Brothers and Sisters!
Basi po may kilala kamo na interesado maging altar server, or basi kamo gusto niyo maging altar server.

Naga baton na po kami san mga aspirants na willing mag sirbe sa Ginoo, tungod sani, maiipapakita naton an importansya san Kabataan sa simbahan, kag mapapakita na aktibo an partisipasyon ninda.

Adi po an kwalipikasyon:

- Lalake
- Grade 4 hasta College
- Willing mag intra sa mga saturday formations
- Willing mag sirbe sa Ginoo

Para sa mga interesado, i message po an page o mag lapit sa sakristan na naga serve bago o pagtapos san misa.
