The gospel of Christ - the good news that God sent His only begotten Son to become one of us, a mere human, and then to take on all our sins upon Himself at the cross, thus defeating sin and death for all mankind - that is God's own way for us to salvation, to be reconciled to Him. Only in Christ, covered by His blood, are we accepted and adopted as sons and daughters of our God Most High. Knowing and believing what Jesus has done for us - the Gospel of Christ - is the power that God has given the world to be saved from the effects of sin.

If you are unsure whether you have this salvation, or if you'd like this salvation, rest assured, our God loves you and wants you enjoying the salvation that He has given us through Jesus. Pray this prayer and mean it from the heart: Dear Lord Jesus, I welcome You into my life. I invite You to be Lord and Master of my life. Help me from now on to desire You more and more, help me to understand and know more about You, how wonderful, beautiful and glorious You are. Help me to look to You in every situation and yield to the Your soft promptings instead of finding my own way about. Help me to be teachable and yielding to You, Lord Jesus. Amen!

Good Friday, We pause to reflect on the profound silence and the even more profound words spoken from the cross. Good Friday isn’t just a day of mourning; it’s a journey through the ultimate sacrifice made out of an unbreakable love.

As we walk through the shadows of Calvary, we remember the Seven Last Words that echo through history:

Forgiveness: "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do." (Luke 23:34)

Salvation: "Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise." (Luke 23:43)

Relationship: "Woman, behold, your son!" / "Behold, your mother!" (John 19:26-27)

Abandonment: "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" (Matthew 27:46)

Distress: "I thirst." (John 19:28)

Triumph: "It is finished." (John 19:30)

Reunion: "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!" (Luke 23:46)

In the stillness of this day, may we find gratitude for the debt paid in full. It is called "Good" because, even in the darkness of the crucifixion, the story was just beginning. 🕊️✨
