The Ascension reminds us that our life is not meant only for the things of this world. Our hearts are made for heaven. But before Jesus ascended, He gave His disciples a mission: to proclaim the Gospel, to bear witness, and to bring His presence to the world.

So we do not simply look up to heaven and wait. We go out with faith. We serve. We love. We forgive. We become witnesses of the Risen Lord.

Jesus is no longer seen by our eyes, but He remains with us through His Church, His Word, the Sacraments, and the mission He entrusted to us.

May we live today with our eyes fixed on heaven and our feet ready for mission.

Even in our weakness and sinfulness, Christ did not turn away from us. He gave Himself for us, so that we may live in His mercy and grace.

May we never forget how deeply we are loved by God.

Grant me the grace to meet the coming day

I ask for Your protection over my family
and Your guidance in every small decision I make.

Mahinatagon kag mamomot-on na Diyos,
nagapasalamat kami sa regalo
san amon mga kapadian.
Paagi sa inda, nababatyagan namon
an imo presensya sa mga sakramento.
Buligi an amon mga kapadian na magin
makusog sa inda bokasyon.
Palaada an inda mga kalag sin
kalayo san pagkamoot
para sa imo katawohan.

Hatagi sinda sin kadunongan,
pagsabot kag kusog
na inda kinahanglan sa pagsunod
sa mga tamak ni Jesus.
I-inspirar sinda sa
paglantaw san imo kahadian.
Ihatag sainda an mga surmaton
na inda kinahanglan sa
pagbalangibog san Ebanghelyo.
Tuguti sinda na madanasan an kalipay
