Be absent from the world and present with the Lord. Please read this important message of concern from Elder Ballard and ponder how technology can help us in standing firm and immovable in today's world.

Receiving revelation comes, at least in my case, when I have still and quiet moments. You cannot connect with heaven in a mass of clutter. You have to find those quiet moments in your life when you can contemplate the things of the Spirit. In my experience, when I am in that mode and striving to be still, that’s when I get impressions. That’s when I get a thought that I know is from heaven.

I have great worry for my grandchildren and my great-grandchildren—in fact, all young people—in the world today. I fear that they are being captured by social media, texting, emails, and other distractions. While technology can be a blessing in our lives, it can also be a distraction that places a barrier between us and our ability to hear the Lord’s voice. I tell my grandchildren that they should set aside quiet time each day to think about their lives and ponder what the Lord wants them to do. I encourage you to do the same.

Captain Moroni was a man of great faith, courage and integrity to the Lord. He was a strong and mighty man who was also firm in faith to Jesus Christ. He fought for the welfare of his people, the Nephites, and inspire them to stand fast to their faith to the Lord.

"Yea, verily, verily I say unto you, if all men had been, and were, and ever would be, like unto Moroni, behold, the very powers of hell would have been shaken forever; yea, the devil would never have power over the hearts of the children of men."

The Lord knows each of us. He trusts and loves us that we can overcome all the trials we may face here in our mortal life. He believes in us that we are strong. We can fight this pandemic that we are currently facing with faith and perfect brightness of hope to the Lord. Our faith and hope to the Lord can be our source of strength and courage in fighting this pandemic. For there is faith, there is hope also. This too shall pass. May we remain immovable and faithful in keeping His commandments and facing this time of uncertainty. For there is the most beautiful gift and blessing that awaits in us when we keep on enduring to the end. ❤️

"Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life."
