There are moments when the rain feels heavier, the winds feel stronger, and the uncertainty can make our hearts afraid. In times like these, may we find comfort not in knowing when the storm will end, but in knowing that 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘂𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗱𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝘁.
When the disciples were caught in a great storm, Jesus arose and spoke to the wind and the sea:
“𝘗𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘦, 𝘣𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭.” 𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦𝘥, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘢 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘮.
𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘬 4:39 𝘒𝘑𝘝
The storm did not have the final word—𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗱𝗶𝗱. And the same Savior who calmed the sea remains our refuge, our strength, and our peace today.
As we face the weather and everything that comes with it, may we draw closer to Him. May our hearts be reminded that even when the skies are dark and the waves are high, 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲.
Lord, keep our families safe. Protect those who are traveling, shelter those who need refuge, and comfort those whose hearts are filled with fear. Give strength to those affected by the storm and peace to every home. And when the storm passes by, may we find ourselves even closer to You.
