We have reached the peak of our mountain! Today was the final day of our H.I.K.E. adventure, and we crossed the finish line with our last letter: E – Elevate Your Worship, alongside our grand DVBS Graduation Ceremony! πŸŽ–οΈπŸŽ’

To finish our journey, the kids listened to the beautiful and touching story of the Repentant Woman from Luke 7:36-50. πŸ“–πŸ§΄

This woman didn’t care what the crowd thought; she brought her most precious alabaster jar of perfume, wept at the feet of Jesus, wiped them with her hair, and poured out her love and gratitude. Jesus forgave her sins and honored her deep devotion.

The Big Lesson for Our Kids Today: 🌟
Elevate Your Worship means giving God our absolute best from a heart full of gratitude! The kids learned that true worship isn't just about singing songs, it’s about offering our love, our obedience, and our thankful hearts to Jesus for His amazing grace and forgiveness.

Today on Day 3 of our adventure, we unlocked our third letter: K – Keep the Vision! 🌟 We dove into the beautiful Parable of the Lost Sheep to see exactly how precious every single one of us is to God. πŸ‘β€οΈ

The Big Lesson for Our Kids Today: 🌟
Keep the Vision means seeing people the way God sees them! The kids learned that to God, everyone matters, no one is invisible, and every single person is worth pursuing. We keep this vision alive by looking out for those who feel left out, sharing God's love, and remembering that we are deeply cared for by our Good Shepherd.

Just like Nehemiah, loving our country means seeing where there is a need and stepping up to help build it up! The kids learned that igniting our national love isn't just a feeling, it's an action. We show love for our homeland by serving our community, respecting our country, and protecting the nation God gave us.

From waving flags to building our own team "walls" in games, Day 2 was full of patriotic energy, teamwork, and big hearts for our nation! 🧱❀️

Today, the kids learned that this beautiful world God created is a precious gift entrusted to all of humanity. We aren't just here to live in it, we are called by God to protect, cherish, and care for it, not to abuse it!

Today in our Sunday School class, we learned about a faithful woman in the Bible β€” Hannah. Her story is a beautiful reminder of how powerful a mother’s prayer can be. Despite her deep sadness and longing for a child, Hannah never stopped praying and believing. God heard her prayer and blessed her with a son, Samuel, whom she dedicated back to the Lord. πŸ™πŸ‘Ά

After the lesson, the children made heartfelt artworks to give as gifts to their mothers β€” each one created with love, color, and care. πŸ’–πŸŽ¨
