The kids learned that just as sheep trust their shepherd, we are called to trust Jesus, our Good Shepherd, who knows us, loves us, and leads us on the right path. Truly, a reminder that His love never fails.

Continuing on our discussion on the pillars of Lent, last Sunday, our children learned about the meaning of fasting.

Through Sacred Scripture and age-appropriate activities, they discovered that fasting is not just about giving up food, but about giving something up out of love for God. From small sacrifices like sharing and waiting patiently to deeper reflections on prayer and self-discipline, each level explored how fasting helps us grow closer to Christ.

Fasting forms hearts in love, self-control, and trust in God, shaping our children to grow in holiness even through small sacrifices. 🙏

In our Sunday School class, we reflected on one of the three pillars of Lent: Prayer. The kids learned that Lent is a special time to talk to God more often, listen to His voice, and open our hearts to His love and mercy.

Let us all be reminded that prayer is powerful and meaningful, especially during this holy season.
