As we joyfully celebrate the Culmination of the Feast of Nuestra Señora de los Desamparados de Marikina, we warmly invite everyone to witness and join the solemn procession featuring the Processional Image of the Holy Family on May 23 at the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Nuestra Señora de los Desamparados.

Let us gather as one family of faith to honor our Blessed Mother through prayer, thanksgiving, and devotion. The celebration will begin with the Holy Mass at 4:30 PM, followed by the Solemn Procession at 5:30 PM. Come and be part of this meaningful celebration as we entrust our families and our parish to the loving guidance and protection of the Holy Family and Nuestra Señora de los Desamparados.

Happy 60th World Day of Social Communications to all communicators, media ministers, storytellers, and evangelizers around the world! Today, we celebrate your dedication in using the gift of communication to proclaim truth, inspire hope, and bring people closer to God.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to Estrella Communications, the official media ministry of our parish, for their passion and faithful service to God and His people. Through every livestream, photo, video, and story, they continue to become instruments of evangelization in our community.

As Jesus ascended into heaven, may His message of truth continue to spread throughout the world—guiding and evangelizing the faithful, and leading more hearts closer to Him through the power of communication.

As we celebrate the 60th World Day of Social Communications, we are reminded that communication is more than sharing information—it is about building relationships, fostering understanding, and creating meaningful encounters rooted in truth and charity. Inspired by the message of Pope Leo XIV, may we continue to use the gift of communication to bring people closer to God and to one another.

We also invite our parish community to pray for and support our Social Communications Ministry, whose dedication and service help proclaim the Gospel through various media platforms. May the Lord continue to guide all communicators to become instruments of hope, truth, and evangelization in today’s world.

An evening of grace, gratitude, and generosity awaits as we celebrate the 50th Birthday of Fr. Fhyrdz Cornejo through “Dinner for a Cause” on July 3, 2026, at 7:00 PM at the Marikina Convention Center – Plenary Hall. This special gathering is dedicated to supporting the Roof Deck & Canopy Waterproofing Project, making every ticket a meaningful contribution to the parish community.

Guests are encouraged to come in formal attire and share in a night of fellowship, inspiration, and celebration. Tickets are available for PHP 2,000 and may be purchased at the Parish Office. Join us as we honor Fr. Fhyrdz’ golden milestone while helping build and preserve our church for the years to come.

Warm greetings to all devotees and faithful as we joyfully celebrate the 235th Feast of our Patroness and the 336th Canonical Er****on Anniversary of the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of Nuestra Señora de los Desamparados.

For more than two centuries, our beloved Ina ng mga Walang Mag-Ampon continues to guide, protect, and embrace her children with maternal love and compassion. May this sacred celebration renew our faith, strengthen our devotion, and inspire us to become instruments of hope, unity, and service to others.
