Sumulong Baptist Church is a Baptist Congregation with more or less 5,000 total members on the rolls, including about 3,000 active members currently living in Antipolo, Marikina, and Pasig Area. Through prayers and a heart for people the Lord started to add families, youth and kids, and the couple reached out to various areas in Antipolo and Marikina way up to Montalban. Missionary Norris and Linda Bailey necessitate to go back to the United States for health reason and the leadership of the church was then transferred to Rev. Eddie and Cindy Lyons who took charge of the expansion of the ministry up to year 2002 with the church holding Sunday worship services in two different location: the main church in Sumulong Highway and a rented events place located in The Brick Road Sta. The Church was then handed over to another missionary family Rev. Lance and Melanie Gotcher who up to present is overseeing the Sumulong Baptist Church. For 42 years, we've built a reputation as a place where members are encouraged to ask questions, learn deeper about biblical doctrines and seek truth. The church has flourished under the leadership of strong senior ministers, strong lay leadership and high-quality staff. We are all about Jesus and our doors are open to all who wish to follow Jesus on a journey of faith. We are a Church who believes in a supernatural Bible, which tells of a supernatural Christ, Who had a supernatural birth, Who spoke supernatural words, Who performed supernatural miracles, Who lived a supernatural life, Who died a supernatural death, Who rose in supernatural power, Who ascended in supernatural splendor, Who intercedes as a supernatural priest and Who will one day return in supernatural glory to establish a supernatural kingdom on the earth.
