Today, the whole JIL Marikina family comes together to celebrate the life, leadership, and heart of our wonderful pastor. Pastor Ed “pogi” Sanchez, we are incredibly grateful for the way you selflessly shepherd us, teach us, and point us toward Jesus every single week. Your dedication to God’s word and your deep love for this community is a beautiful reflection of Christ.
As you step into this new year, we pray a blessing over you from Numbers 6:24-26:

🌹 “The memory of the righteous is a blessing.” — Proverbs 10:7

Today, we remember Mayor Joni Villanueva-Tugna — a faithful servant whose life became a fruitful legacy of faith, leadership, and compassion. Through Jesus Is Lord Church Worldwide, Zoe Broadcasting Network, and her service to the people of Bocaue, Bulacan, she exemplified what it means to lead with a heart fully surrendered to God. Her life reflected integrity, faithfulness, and a deep love for people, leaving behind a testimony that continues to inspire generations. Though she went home to the Lord in 2020, her faithfulness continues to bear fruit through lives changed, ministries strengthened, and people drawn closer to Christ. Truly, the righteous are remembered not only for what they accomplished, but for the blessing their lives became to others.
