𝐑𝐔𝐋𝐄𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐌𝐄𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐒 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐃𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐀𝐂𝐊 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐄𝐒𝐓

TEAM COMPOSITION

--Each team SHALL consist of exactly 6 members.
--All team members must be present during the performance; no substitutes or changes in mid-performance are allowed.

DURATION

--The maximum duration for each performance is 5 minutes.
-- A penalty of 2 points will be applied for every 5 seconds beyond the time limit. The total penalties will be deducted from the overall score.

JUDGING CRITERIA

--Performance- 40%
--Choreography and Originality-30%
--Musicality and Costume -20%
--Overall/ Audience Impact-10%
--TOTAL – 100%

PENALTIES AND PERFORMANCE REGULATIONS

--Point deductions may apply for violations such as exceeding the time limit, use of inappropriate music or costumes, or any actions deemed unsafe by the organizers.
--Teams must provide their music in an MP3 format to the event organizers well in advance.
--All performances must be suitable for a family-friendly audience.
--Any props used must be safe, and easy to set up and remove within a reasonable timeframe.

JUDGING PANEL:

--The judging panel consists of three qualified judges with expertise in dance or performance arts.
--The judges’ decisions are final and irrevocable. No appeals or re-evaluations will be entertained.

IMPORTANT!

--All participants, including team members, coaches, and supporters, must adhere to a code of conduct ensuring sportsmanship and respect for all competitors and judges.
--The event organizers reserve the right to modify rules, procedures, or other aspects of the contest for fairness or safety reasons.
--By participating, contestants grant the organizers the right to use performance footage and photos for promotional purposes.

1. Open to all bona fide residents of Maribojoc, Bohol, aged 15 years old and below.

2. Registration Start Date: August 6, 2024.

Method:
--Online: VIA FB Page or any members of the PSRYO.
--In-Person: Register at the designated registration area ( Poblacion San Roque Chapel)

Submission Requirements:
--Provide personal details including name, age, and address.
--Submit a high-quality minus one track for the performance.

Registration Deadline: August 7, 2024, 11:59 PM.
NO REGISTRATION FEE

3. Contest Date and Venue
--Date: August 8, 2024.
--Time: 8:00 P.M.
--Venue: Poblacion San Roque Basketball Court, Maribojoc, Bohol.

4. Performance
--Contestants must prepare their own minus one track for the performance. No live accompaniment or pre-recorded vocals are allowed.

--Each contestant will have a maximum of 3 minutes to perform.
Contestants are responsible for providing their playback device if using a physical medium (e.g., CD player) or ensuring their minus one track is compatible with the provided playback system.

5. A panel of qualified judges will evaluate the performances.
--Performances will be graded based on the criteria which will be announced on the event date.
--The judges’ decisions are final and irrevocable. No appeals or re-evaluations will be entertained.

6. General Rules

--All performances must be live. Contestants may not use pre-recorded vocals or lip-sync.

--Songs should be appropriate for all audiences.

--Contestants may be disqualified for failing to adhere to the rules, inappropriate behavior, or not meeting eligibility criteria.

--By participating, contestants grant the organizers the right to use performance footage and photos for promotional purposes.
