Delegates from the Parish Office for Youth Apostolate and Vocations Promotion of Saint Anthony Of Padua were enthusiastic participants in the Youth Encounter Batch 2025, which took place on May 16-18, at Saint Joseph Parish of Dingras, Ilocos Norte. The event brought together young individuals with a shared passion for spiritual growth and fellowship.

The participants included Jade Vincent Esta, Renier Jake Julian, Angel Mae Saclayan, Asher Dominic Lorenzo, Angel Zedrich Eugenio and Ranier Curammeng

This Youth Encounter has been a transformative journey—filled with faith, reflection, and the power of genuine connection. In just a short time, strangers became friends, doubts turned into understanding, and hearts were renewed with purpose. Delegates from the Parish Office for Youth Apostolate and Vocations Promotion of Saint Anthony Of Padua were enthusiastic participants in the 3rd Bible Youth Camp, which took place on January 24-26, at Saint Anne Parish, Piddig, Ilocos Norte. The event brought together young individuals with a shared passion for spiritual growth and fellowship.

The camp was beautifully themed "GOD'S WORD: SOURCE OF HOPE FOR THE YOUTH," a resonating message that underscored the enduring power and relevance of divine scripture in guiding and inspiring the younger generation. Throughout the camp, participants engaged in a variety of enriching activities, such as worship sessions, group discussions, and interactive workshops, all designed to deepen their understanding of God’s Word and its applicability to their lives.

Part 2

The activity began early with a Eucharistic Celebration, setting a prayerful tone for the day. After breakfast, the camp gathered for assembly time, building excitement for the sessions ahead. The first talk of the day, brought fresh insights into Scripture, and kept the energy flowing, with interactive discussions and reflections.

The Bible Quiz Bee tested participants’ knowledge in a fun and challenging way, pushing everyone to dive deeper into the Word. As the day unfolded, participants were immersed in meaningful moments, including a peaceful Holy Hour.
Dinner was a time to relax and enjoy good food before the final BiblioDrama session, bringing the Word to life.

The day ended with lights off, leaving everyone with a sense of fulfillment and anticipation for the next steps in their journey of faith.

LOOK | BIBLE YOUTH CAMP 2025

DAY 1

The Bible Camp officially began with the arrival and registration of all participants. Everyone gathered for a delicious potluck dinner, where they shared food and stories. After dinner, the orientation kicked off, introducing the camp’s purpose and activities. The Pilgrim Dance during Bible Enthronement helped set the tone for a spiritual journey ahead. A fun “Getting-to-know-you” activity followed, allowing everyone to connect and form bonds.

The evening wrapped up with a Biblical Dance around the Bonfire, celebrating God’s Word in movement. Participants enjoyed snacks and rested as they prepared for the next day’s adventures. It was a beautiful start, filled with joy, reflection, and fellowship. It was an evening of connection, learning, and spiritual growth.

Today starts the simultaneous Bible Month Celebration of three of the five vicariates of the Diocese of Laoag: Mary Mother of God (Central), Mary Ever-Virgin (Eastern) and The Assumption of Mary (Northern).

The photos below are among the preliminary activities of the three-day Bible Youth Camp of the Eastern Vicariate being held at the St. Anne Parish in Piddig. The Basic Bible Seminar and the Bible Dance Orientation being conducted by the Northern Luzon Biblical Apostolate are among the key activities.

The Youth of the St. Joseph Vicariate, meaning, those who are enrolled at the different Catholic Schools joined their respective “parish vicariates” while the Vicariate of the Immaculate Conception of Mary (Southern) will have their activity in March.

We thank Rev. Fr. Leonardo Ruiz and Rev. Fr. Joseph Goyal for their generosity and hospitality.

LOOK | Delegates from the Parish Office for Youth Apostolate and Vocations Promotion of San Antonio De Padua took part in the Diocesan Christ the King Youth Vigil 2024 on November 16-17, 2024, held at the Mary Mother of the Church Mission Station in Brgy. Uguis, Nueva Era, Ilocos Norte. Their active participation highlighted their commitment to supporting youth spirituality and vocational discernment.

With the theme: "Iti daytoy a tawen ti kararag, kibinennatayo ni Maria, ina ti simbaan, a mangnamnama ti kaasi ni Kristo nga Ari."

The event, which gathered young people from across the diocese, provided a platform for prayer, reflection, and fellowship. The delegates from San Antonio De Padua contributed to the success of the vigil by engaging with the attendees, fostering an environment of faith and unity among the youth.
