" Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of Truth. " 2 Timothy 2:15. This diligent effort by the Council and church members, who have gathered together to deepen their understanding of theological principles and methods, is truly commendable. It strengthens their faith and equips them to nurture those entrusted to their spiritual care as faithful workers in God’s vineyard

Continuing Pastoral and Ministerial Development

AFJEC is a united part of the wider Body of Christ within the evangelical Christian community. We are committed to supporting and equipping our pastors and ministers so that they may faithfully proclaim the Word of God with purity, sound doctrine, spiritual integrity, and Christlike service.

To fulfil this commitment, the Council of Ordained Ministers of AFJEC has established a continuing programme of pastoral and theological development. This programme includes courses such as Introduction to Advanced Hermeneutics, Introduction to Advanced Christian Apologetics, Church Leadership and Administration, Church History, Biblical Surveys, and Foundations of Christian Doctrine, together with other relevant areas of ministry formation.

Through continuous study, fellowship, prayer, and mutual accountability, we seek to strengthen the work of Christ, equip His servants, and advance the gospel to the four corners of the world.

We sincerely hope and pray for your continued prayers and support as we move forward in fulfilling this sacred mission until the glorious return of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Propose leadership structure for AFJEC..

“Christian leadership ✝️ is not a throne to possess, but a sacred stewardship entrusted by God. Its worth is not measured by the number of years we remain in office, but by the fruit produced through our service. Jesus reminds us, ‘By their fruits ye shall know them’ (Matthew 7:20).

When years of leadership pass yet the ministry remains stagnant, a faithful servant must have the humility to examine his stewardship before God. There comes a time when courage is demonstrated not by holding tightly to a position, but by having the grace to step aside and allow another whom God has equipped to lead the work forward.

John the Baptist understood this spirit when he declared, ‘He must increase, but I must decrease’ (John 3:30). Kingdom leadership is never about preserving our title, authority, or influence; it is about advancing the work of Christ.

A true servant leader does not ask, ‘How long can I remain in this position?’ but rather, ‘Is the ministry flourishing under the responsibility God has entrusted to me?’ If another servant can cultivate the vineyard more effectively, humility makes room for that person without jealousy or resentment.

Positions are temporary, but the mission of Christ continues. Blessed is the leader who knows when to lead, when to mentor, when to prepare a successor, and when to step aside—because the vineyard belongs not to the servant, but to the Lord." ❤️❤️❤️
