Gospel: Luke 11:5-13

Ask and you will receive

Jesus encourages us to pray with persistence and trust. Sometimes our prayers seem to go unanswered, or God’s response comes differently from what we expect. Yet He invites us to keep asking, seeking, and knocking—not because we must convince Him, but because persistent prayer deepens our faith and teaches us to trust His wisdom and timing.

Lord Jesus, when answers seem delayed, strengthen our faith. Help us persevere in prayer, trust Your timing, and remain open to answers that may be different from what we ask for. May we always believe in Your goodness and loving care. Amen.

Gospel: Luke 11:1-4

Lord teach us to pray

The disciples’ request reminds us that prayer is something we continually learn. Jesus teaches us to approach God simply—as children would speak to a loving father. On the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, Mary shows us this same prayerful heart: trusting, listening, and remaining close to Jesus. Through the Rosary, may we contemplate Christ’s life and learn to follow Him more faithfully.

Lord Jesus, teach us to pray with simplicity, trust, and perseverance. Through Mary’s example and intercession, draw us closer to You and help us carry Your presence into our daily lives. Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us. Amen.

Gospel: Luke 10:25-37

Do this and you will live

Jesus invites us not simply to know His word, but to live it through love, mercy, and compassion. In the Gospel, a scholar asks Jesus what he must do to inherit eternal life. May we, too, listen attentively to Christ and allow His teachings to guide our daily choices.

Following Jesus means choosing patience when we are frustrated, offering help when someone is struggling, forgiving when we have been hurt, and spending time with those who feel forgotten. These small acts of love turn faith into action and help us walk more closely with Christ. Following Jesus amid the distractions and challenges of this world is not always easy.

Lord Jesus, give us attentive and faithful hearts. Help us listen to Your word, live according to Your teaching, and choose Your way each day. Amen.

Gospel: Matthew 21:33-43

The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone

In today's Gospel reading, Jesus tells the parable of a landowner who entrusts his vineyard to tenants. Rather than caring for the vineyard and producing fruit, the tenants rejected the landowner’s servants and even his son.

Through this parable, Jesus reminds us that everything we have is a gift from God, and He calls us to use these gifts well and allowing them to bear good fruit. It reminds us to look at how we are using the blessings, opportunities, and responsibilities God has entrusted to us. It is not enough simply to receive His gifts, we are called to make something good out of them.

Lord, thank You for all the blessings and opportunities You have entrusted to us. Help us to use them wisely and to bear good fruit through the way we live and serve others. May our lives always reflect Your goodness and love. Amen.

Gospel: Matthew 18:1-5,10

The angels in heaven always look upon the face of my heavenly Father

In today's Gospel reading, the disciples ask Jesus who is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. Jesus puts a child among them and tells them that true greatness comes from humility. He also speaks of the angels who are always in the presence of the Father, watching over His little ones.

The Gospel reminds us to remain humble and to trust God with a heart like that of a child. It also gives us a beautiful reminder that we are never alone on our journey. God watches over us and sends His angels to guide and protect us. Even when we are unsure of the path ahead, we can find comfort in knowing that God’s presence and guidance are always with us.

Lord, thank You for always watching over us and for sending Your angels to guide and protect us. Help us to have humble and trusting hearts, especially in moments of uncertainty. May we always be attentive to Your guidance and trust that You are with us wherever we go. Amen.
