“𝗚𝗢, 𝗠𝗔𝗞𝗘 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗖𝗜𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗦, 𝗕𝗔𝗣𝗧𝗜𝗭𝗘 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗖𝗛”
SUNDAY REFLECTION | May 17, 2026

‎In today’s Gospel, Jesus reminds His disciples that their mission didn’t end after seeing Him again. Instead, He gave them a responsibility—to go out, share His teachings, and bring people closer to God. Even though some disciples still doubted, Jesus still trusted them and called them to serve.‎
Just like the disciples, there are times when we also feel afraid, uncertain, or unworthy. We sometimes question if we are capable enough to serve, lead, or share our faith with others. But this Gospel reminds us that Jesus doesn’t wait for us to become perfect; He simply asks us to follow Him faithfully and continue His mission.‎
As a server, I see myself in the disciples because I am also called to be a disciple of Christ through serving God, helping others, and becoming a good example in our community. However, there are times when I doubt God and my faith in Him. Sometimes, I feel weak, unworthy, and even afraid to continue serving or my service in Church. But after reflecting on this Gospel, I was reminded that Jesus is always with me, and His presence is enough for me to be strengthened, and to continue serving Him faithfully.‎
This Gospel encourages me to trust God more and to answer His call with faith. 𝗡𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗜 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲, 𝗜 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀’ 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗛𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗴𝗲.

SUNDAY REFLECTION | May 10, 2026

As I read the Gospel, I realize that loving Jesus is shown not just in words, but in keeping His commandments as a true sign of our love for Him. Yet I also understand that I cannot do this alone, which is why Jesus promised to send the Holy Spirit, another Advocate, to be with us always. Busa, usahay ang mga problema dili lang nagahatag ug kalisod nato. Isa kini nga higayon nga mamalandong kita ug atoa ba nabuhat ang iyang mga pulong para kanato.

Nakita usab nako nga ang iyang mga saad nagpadayon nga buhi every Sunday celebration. The Holy Spirit makes the Risen Christ present in the proclamation of His Word and in the Eucharist. When we receive Communion, the 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗷𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗵𝗶𝗺𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳, 𝗮𝘀 𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝘂𝘀.

Now, I pray that we may truly experience these holy mysteries deeply. May we always remember that we're never alone, for the Spirit walks with us, guides us, and lives with us every day.

Today, the Parish Youth Coordinating Council and Meeting (PYCCM) was successfully held at St. Nazarene Chapel, Purok 2 North Poblacion.

We sincerely thank everyone who took the time to be with us. Your presence and participation are truly appreciated as we continue to move forward in one mission of serving the Lord.

Let us continue to serve together, united and strengthened in the Lord. 🙌🏼
