𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲: “𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗼𝗱”
REFLECTION | AUGUST 23, 2026

As I reflected on the theme, “You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God,” I realized how important it is to truly know and believe in Jesus. Not only through my words, but also through my actions. Sometimes, I may say that I have faith in Him, but when I face problems, doubts, and challenges, I tend to forget to fully trust His plans.

This reminded me that following Jesus means staying faithful even when life is not easy. Like Peter, I am called to recognize who Jesus is and allow my faith to guide me in my everyday life. I may not always be perfect, and there are times when I feel weak or uncertain, but I know that I can continue to grow in my relationship with God.

Through this, I am reminded to trust Jesus more, remain strong in my faith, and show His love through the way I treat other people. I believe that as I continue to follow Him, He will guide me and help me become a better person. 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀, 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗶𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝘆.

Yesterday, we gathered at San Andres Parish for a quiet evening of prayer, song, and reflection. We are deeply grateful to everyone who joined us and made this beautiful moment of prayer even more meaningful.

Today’s PYCCM was an opportunity to come together, share ideas, and serve with one heart.

Thank you to all our chapel and youth organization leaders and representatives who gave their time and shared their ideas for the youth. We truly appreciate your presence and support.

May God bless the plans we made today and give us wisdom and strength as we continue this journey together. 🙌🏼

REFLECTION | August 16, 2026

There are days when I smile in front of everyone, but deep inside, I am carrying things that no one knows about. Sometimes, I feel tired, confused, and scared of what tomorrow may bring. But 1 Corinthians 16:13 reminds me to stand firm in my faith, be brave, and stay strong.

Being strong does not mean pretending that everything is okay. Sometimes, being strong means getting up, praying, and choosing to trust God again. Even when I do not understand His plans, I believe that He is always working in my life. Even when my prayers are not answered right away, I know that God has not forgotten me.

This Sunday, I give my worries, fears, and problems to God. Lord, when I feel weak, remind me that I do not have to face everything alone. Give me the courage to keep going and the faith to keep believing in You.

I want to keep believing in my faith. I want to be brave when I'm scared. I want to trust God even when things are not going well. This week is going to bring some things. I hope my heart stays strong this week. My heart stays strong because God is with me. God is always, with me when things are tough. I know I am never alone when I am going through times with God.

REFLECTION | August 9, 2026

When I reflected on this Sunday's Gospel, I realized that life is not always easy. There are moments when I feel afraid, uncertain, and overwhelmed by the challenges I face. Like the disciples who were caught in the storm, I sometimes lose hope and wonder if I am strong enough to keep going. But Jesus' words, "Take courage. Do not be afraid. It is I," reminded me that He is always with me, even during my hardest moments.

This Gospel taught me that faith is choosing to trust God even when I do not understand everything that is happening. Like Peter, I may become afraid and lose confidence, but I know that when I call on the Lord, He will always reach out His hand to guide and strengthen me. His love reminds me that I never have to face my struggles alone.

As I continue my journey, I want to choose faith over fear every day. I pray that I will always trust God's plan, keep my eyes on Him, and find peace in His presence. No matter how strong the storms of life may be, I believe that with Jesus by my side, I can move forward with courage, hope, and a faithful heart.
