Praising is a sign and indication of victory. In our meetings there should be more praising than praying or speaking. In all the churches the meetings should be full of praises.

The right way is that while you are serving, you are being built together with others. The more you serve, the more you exercise your gift, the more you will be united, the more you will be coordinated with others. In the Lord’s service you never act in an independent way. Here there are lessons for us to learn.

God's will is to reveal Christ into us, to have Christ live in us, and to have Christ formed in us. This is God's purpose...God's intention is to work Christ into us, but Satan's subtlety is to use religion to keep us away from Christ. It appears good and cultured, yet religion separates more people from Christ than anything else does.

To be religious is considered as approved and commendable behavior. Yet Paul says in Galatians 5 that to be religious is to be separated from Christ, to be fallen from grace. If we have God's point of view, we will see that anything that separates people from Christ is evil. Even the most moral, ethical, and religious things are evil in the eyes of God, because they separate us from the indwelling Christ.

It pleases God to reveal His Son not merely to us but in us. This is a subjective, inward matter. When we consider our personal experience, can we point to a particular time when God revealed His Son in us? Paul’s initial experience of God’s Son being revealed in him changed the whole direction of his life. I hope that we all can point to similar experiences in our personal history with the Lord, experiences in which we see the Lord, rather than just hearing about Him. May we be saved from the danger of passivity. Let us not just passively follow others without having a subjective revelation of Christ.

May we deal with the Lord until we can see Him. “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God” (Matt. 5:8). Seeing God is an inward matter that involves dealing with our heart.

The Lord’s table meeting is the bread breaking meeting (Acts 20:7), in which the believers come together to eat the Lord’s supper (1 Cor. 11:20) and attend the Lord’s table (1 Cor. 10:21).

The Lord’s table meeting is the most important meeting of a local church; it is for remembering the Lord with the remembrance of the Lord as its center for the Lord’s enjoyment.

Everything done in the meeting—whether the singing and speaking of the hymns, prayer and praise, Bible reading, or words of inspiration—should take the Lord as the center.
