David did not defeat Goliath because he was the strongest, the tallest, or the most skilled warrior. He defeated a giant because he had something greater—faith in God.
While others saw an impossible battle, David saw an opportunity to trust the Lord. His confidence was not in his own strength, but in the power of the God he served.

Just like David, we all face our own "Goliaths" in life. Challenges, fears, doubts, and trials that seem bigger than us. The difference is not how strong we are, but how much we trust God.

When God is with you, no giant is too great to overcome.

Last June 14, 2026, three precious souls chose to follow the example of Jesus Christ through baptism. With faith in their hearts and the loving support of their families, they took this sacred step toward Him.

They testify that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live and lovingly guide us each day. They know that no matter the challenges we face, the Savior is always there to strengthen, comfort, and help us through every trial.

Elder Karl D. Hirst taught, “The joy of the gospel is available to all: not just the happy, not just the downcast. Joy is our purpose, not the gift of our circumstances. We have every good reason to “rejoice and be filled with love towards God and all men.”

This teaching reminds us that the joy found in the Gospel of Jesus Christ is different from worldly happiness. Happiness often depends on what is happening around us, but the joy that comes through Jesus Christ can remain with us regardless of our circumstances. Whether we are experiencing success or facing trials, whether we feel strong or discouraged, the blessings of the gospel are available to all of us.

The Savior’s Atonement, the gift of repentance, the companionship of the Holy Ghost, and the promise of eternal life give us reason to rejoice every day. Our purpose is not simply to wait for better circumstances before we can be joyful. Rather, God intends for us to find joy as we follow His Son and live His gospel.

As we focus on Jesus Christ, our hearts can be filled with gratitude, hope, and love for God and for one another. Through Him, we can find lasting peace and true joy in every season of life.

At times, I have felt like the lost sheep—uncertain, discouraged, and far from where I wanted to be. Yet the Savior's love has taught me that I am never forgotten.

In Luke 15, Jesus Christ shows that every soul is worth searching for. He knows my name, understands my struggles, and lovingly leads me back to safety.

No matter where I am on my journey, His love always reaches me.

"Masaya po ako..." – Johnus

He was first introduced to the missionaries in 2023 and had the opportunity to hear the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Yesterday, June 12, 2026, he experienced one of the most important days of his life. It was the day he fully embraced and accepted the fullness of the Gospel.

Through his faith and sincere efforts to seek the truth, he is deeply grateful to God for sending the missionaries into his life. Because of their guidance and teachings, he was able to become a member of the true Church of Jesus Christ.

There are times when we feel overwhelmed by life's challenges. We may struggle emotionally, worry about our future, face financial difficulties, battle illness, or feel afraid to step outside our comfort zones. In those moments, the Savior's words bring peace and reassurance: "Fear thou not; for I am with thee."

Jesus Christ does not promise that life will be free from trials, but He does promise that we will never face them alone. As we trust in Him, we can move forward with faith instead of fear. His strength can sustain us in our weakest moments, guide us through uncertainty, and help us overcome every challenge that comes our way. No matter what we are facing today, we can find hope in knowing that the Savior walks beside us every step of the journey.

Jesus Christ does not know us as part of a crowd—He knows us individually, by name.

From the beginning, He called Adam by name in the Garden of Eden. At the empty tomb, He spoke a single word—“Mary”—and in that moment, her grief turned to recognition. On the road to Damascus, He called out, “Saul, Saul,” reaching a man whose life would be transformed by His grace.
Centuries later, when young Joseph Smith knelt in prayer seeking truth, he testified that he too was called by name: “Joseph.” These sacred moments reveal a beautiful truth: the Savior's love is personal.

He knows every detail of our lives—our joys and sorrows, our questions and struggles, our strengths and weaknesses. He understands our hearts because He knows us completely. When we feel unnoticed or alone, we can remember that Jesus Christ knows our name. He knows our soul. He knows our story. He knows who we are and who we can become. Because He knows us individually, He knows exactly how to guide, strengthen, and help us through every season of life. To Him, we are never lost in the multitude—we are known, remembered.

And day by day, He calls us by name, one by one, beckoning us to walk beside Him.
