The youth of the Maragondon-Ternate District came together in unity to celebrate Global Youth Day 2026, in partnership with the MTD-Health Department and MTD-Children's Ministry, making it a day filled with purpose, service, and fellowship, truly living out the spirit of 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙞𝙣 𝘼𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣.

Through this meaningful collaboration, we witnessed our young people become channels of kindness, reaching out to the community, sharing hope, and reflecting Christ’s love through acts of service. From health initiatives to child-centered outreach and giving hope in the form of book distribution, every moment showed what it means to be united in Christ and committed to one mission.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the MTD-Health Department and MTD-Children Ministry Department for their unwavering support and dedication in making this event truly impactful and memorable.

Indeed, this was more than just a celebration; it was a powerful testimony of communion lived out through service.

We have an army of youth today who can do much if they are properly directed and encouraged. We want our children to believe the truth. We want them to be blessed of God. We want them to act a part in well-organized plans for helping other youth. Let all be so trained that they may rightly represent the truth, giving the reason of the hope that is within them, and honoring God in any branch of the work where they are qualified to labor.—General Conference Daily Bulletin, January 29, 1893, 24.

As the sun goes down [at the close of the Sabbath], let the voice of prayer and the hymn of praise mark the close of the sacred hours and invite God's presence through the cares of the week of labor.

It means eternal salvation to keep the Sabbath holy unto the Lord. God says: “Them that honor Me I will honor.” 1 Samuel 2:30.
