SOMS Cavite

SOMS Cavite SOMS Cavite is a Bible-based church committed to redefine your relationship with God through Christ Jesus. For the glory of God and for the souls of men.

SOMS Cavite is a Family of God, Bible Believing Christian, Body of Jesus the Christ, the Author and Finishers of Faith, our Firm Foundation and the Rock of our Salvation. Preach the Gospel of Lord Jesus Christ and make Disciples. Our Mission and Vision is to preach the Gospel of Lord Jesus Christ, the power of God to save mankind. Reaching the world by proclaiming that there is no other name under

heaven given among men except Jesus Christ as the way, truth and life, whereby we must be save by grace of God through faith in Him (Jesus). Statement of Faith
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration of the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

"God has a purpose for your pain, a reason for your struggles, and a reward for your faithfulness" is a widely shared sentiment encouraging trust during hardships.
It emphasizes that suffering is not meaningless, but part of a larger plan aimed, strengthening faith, fostering personal growt and at bringing glory to God.

It is with the heaviest heart that we share the passing of our beloved Bro. Sir Anton Mazo.
He has peacefully departed to be with the Lord.

Bro. Anton faithfully served the Lord amidst his battle as a cancer patient. Even though his physical body went through so much, his faith in the Lord never wavered.
He has been a brother, a friend, a mentor, a warrior and kuya Jun to many of us. Though his time with us was cut short, his spirit of boldness, loving kindness and inspiring testimony will forever live on in the hearts of the people heโ€™s touched.

We would like to inform our dearest family in Christ that his wake is at Mazo Residence, Teacher's Village, Bucal 4A, Maragondon, Cavite. Behind Alfamart convenience store.

Please continue to pray for his family. Sending strength, comfort, and peace to his family during this incredibly difficult time.๐Ÿ•Š

When the heart is heavy,
when the tears fall silently,
and when the pain feels too deep to explainโ€ฆ
still worship.
Some of the most powerful praises are not sung from a place of comfort,
but from a soul that has been wounded and still chooses God.
Worship in pain is a different kind of faith.
It is the kind that says,
โ€œLord, I may be hurting, but You are still holy.โ€
Even in heartbreak, He is worthy.
Even in confusion, He is faithful.
Even in the storm, He remains God.
Sometimes God allows the crushing
not to destroy you,
but to pour out the oil He placed inside you.
Your pain becomes your testimony.
Your tears become your offering.
Your worship becomes your weapon.
The enemy expects silence from your suffering,
but heaven is moved when you sing through the hurt.
There is strength hidden in surrender,
healing hidden in praise,
and victory hidden in worship.
So if you are serving while broken,
loving while tired,
and praising while hurting,
know this:
God sees every silent sacrifice.
He honors the worship that rises from wounded hearts.
And in the middle of your pain,
His presence will hold you together.
Keep serving. Keep singing. Keep trusting.
Because sometimes the purest worship
comes from the deepest wounds.

He hung there. On the cross, tortured. Dying. The hard metal of the nails fastening his legs and feet in place.
As he struggled for air and was barely able to breathe, Jesus didnโ€™t hang in silence.
He spoke to those around him, to complete strangers and to his family and friends.
Jesus was speaking to us in his final hours.
In his Seven Last Words, Jesus shows us how he has fulfilled his saving mission and sends us forth to follow in his footsteps.
What are the 7 Last Words of Christ?
The Seven Last Words are the final seven phrases spoken by Jesus Christ during his crucifixion on Good Friday, gathered from all four Gospels. These sayings represent themes of forgiveness, salvation, relationship, abandonment, distress, triumph, and reunion, serving as a central meditation for Christians, particularly during Holy Week.
Join in reflecting on the Seven Last Words of Jesus, a powerful Good Friday, April 3, 2026 at 8PM via Facebook Live.
Meditation on His final sayings that reveal profound love, forgiveness, and ultimate sacrifice.
These reflections cover His cries from the cross, spanning from plea for forgiveness to final surrender

A glimpse from our Glorious Worship Celebration at SOMS Cavite Panambahan.

Abundant blessings are not what we gather, but what we scatter; not what we keep, but what we give away unselfishly.
Do not hoard stuff. Share your blessings.

Uncertainty in the Bible refers to the inherent lack of clarity in human life regarding the future, and ambiguous or unknown terms within the text. While life brings unpredictable changes, the Bible encourages trust in Godโ€™s sovereignty, presence, and immutability, offering spiritual certainty amid lifeโ€™s unknowns.

Even though there are no certainties in this world, let us always remember that the Lord Jesus promised us not to be anxious and that He has already overcome this world.

You are cordially invited to our glorious worship celebration and let us give thanks, worship, and praise to our God Almighty.

What Your Pastor Carries That You Never See

Every service,
the church is full.

People worship.
People sing.
People listen.

But there is someone in the room
who often feels the most alone.

Your pastor.

He stands in front of everyone
but carries things
he cannot tell everyone.

He listens to your struggles.
Your pain.
Your broken stories.

But many times
he has no one
he can freely share
his own struggles with.

When members fight,
he carries the tension.

When families break,
he carries the grief.

When people leave the church,
he carries the questions.

โ€œDid I fail them?โ€
โ€œDid I lead well enough?โ€
โ€œDid I do something wrong?โ€

And he asks those questions
long after everyone else
has gone home.

A pastor celebrates with you
when life is good.

But he also walks beside people
through funerals,
hospital rooms,
and the darkest moments
of their lives.

Week after week.

Year after year.

Yet sometimes
the same people he prays for
become the ones who criticize him.

They question his sermons.
They question his leadership.
They question his decisions.

But they rarely see the heart
behind the calling.

Being a pastor is not a performance.

It is a calling.

A responsibility
to care for the people
God has entrusted to him.

It is loving people
even when they misunderstand you.

It is serving people
even when they speak against you.

It is praying for people
who may never know
how much you prayed.

Your pastor is not perfect.

But he is trying.

Trying to lead well.
Trying to stay faithful.
Trying to care for the souls
God placed in his hands.

So before you criticize him,
pray for him.

Before you question him,
encourage him.

Before you judge him,
remember he is also human.

Because sometimes
the person who strengthens everyone else
is the one who needs encouragement
the most.

And sometimes
a simple prayer from the church

is the strength
that keeps a pastor going.

Isa siyang milyonaryong walang anak.

2. "HINDI MO KAILANGANG DALHIN LAHAT NG BIGAT NANG MAG ISA. ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

6. PAHINGA KA MUNA SA GULO NG MUNDO ๐Ÿฅบ

๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸผA sin of OMISSION in the Bible is the failure to do what is known to be good or right, as defined in James 4:17: "Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin". It is a passive sin of neglectโ€”such as withholding help, failing to act on godly prompts, or neglecting dutyโ€”rather than an active wrongdoing.

Key aspects include:
Definition: It is neglecting to act in accordance with God's commands or opportunities to do good.
Accountability: God holds individuals responsible for the knowledge they possess and the opportunities they have to act righteously.
Examples: Failing to help someone in need (Luke 10:30-37), not sharing the Gospel (1 Peter 3:15), or failing to forgive.
Contrast: It is distinct from sins of commission (actively doing wrong), though both are considered violations of God's law.

It is considered a serious breach of Christian duty, as it shows a lack of love or obedience.

๐Ÿ‘‰๐ŸผA sin of COMMISSION in the Bible is the active, deliberate, or accidental transgression of Godโ€™s lawโ€”essentially "doing the forbidden". It involves committing an act that breaks a commandment in thought, word, or deed, such as lying, stealing, or adultery. This contrasts with sins of omission, which are failures to do what is right.

Key Aspects and Examples:
Definition: Actively doing something that violates God's will.
Biblical Examples: Adam and Eve eating the forbidden fruit, King Davidโ€™s adultery/murder, or lying (Exodus 20:15-16GotQuestions.org).
Active Transgression: Covers actions like idolatry, murder, and slander.
Intent: It can be intentional (deliberate rebellion) or unintentional (a mistake), both of which require repentance.
Contrast: While commissions are doing the wrong things, omissions are neglecting to do the right things (James 4:17).

In essence, a sin of commission is taking an action that breaks a clear biblical command.
