ITāS A WARNING FROM GOD: YOUR PHONE IS NOT JUST A TOOLāITāS A BATTLEFIELD FOR YOUR SOUL. Many people always find time for entertainment but have no time to read Godās word. You might be busy binge-watching the latest Netflix series, and two hours pass by too quickly, but when you study the Bible and draw near to Godās word, even 20 minutes feels too long. Instagram, YouTube, TikTok... how much time do you spend on them each day? We are all bound by time, but the real issue is not time itself, but our choices. We simply choose not to give time to God. āRedeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord isā (Ephesians 5:16ā17, KJV). When you are busy replying to messages, scrolling through social media, or watching shows, do these things bring you closer to peaceāor make you feel more empty and tired? Itās time to redefine Godās place in our hearts. We donāt have to achieve perfection all at once, but we can start making small adjustments. For example, read a few verses while having your morning coffee; play and learn worship songs while cleaning; or turn off your phone before bed and spend five minutes praying to God. Every day, set aside some time for God, enjoy His word, pray, and draw near to Him, and you will find that your life will be renewed and changed under His guidance.
