𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗 || The Archdiocese of Cagayan de Oro’s official statement on the false claims of priesthood by Roel Roy Banggo Ucat.

In his message dated May 7, 2026, Archbishop Jose A. Cabantan, D.D., clarifies that Ucat is not a priest of the Roman Catholic Church and has no affiliation with the Archdiocese or any recognized ecclesiastical jurisdiction. The faithful are urged to exercise prudence and vigilance, as sacraments administered by unauthorized individuals may be invalid.

The Archdiocese calls on parishes, schools, and communities to verify clergy identity, report suspicious activities, and seek sacraments only from authorized priests, safeguarding the integrity of the faith and protecting the faithful from deception.

Dili lang ni basta nga okasyon o selebrasyon. Ang Pista sa Divine Mercy nagpahinumdom kanato sa pinaka-importante nga kamatuoran: ang kalooy ug gugma sa Ginoo walay kataposan, ug mas dako pa kini sa atong mga sayop.

Bisan unsa pa ka bug-at atong gibati, bisan unsa pay atong nahimo, andam Siya magpasaylo ug modawat kanato. Dili lang ni pista para magsaulog—pahinumdom kini nga dapat sad kita mahimong maluluy-on sa atong isigkatawo, sama sa Iyang pagkamaluluy-on kanato.

Karong gabii, puno sa pagtahod ug pasalamat ang atong mga kasingkasing samtang nagtigom kami sa Christ the King Parish - Tuod, Manticao, Misamis Oriental, aron hinumdoman ang Ang Katapusang Panihapon sa Ginoo o ang Last Supper uban sa Iyang mga tinun-an.

Dili lang kini usa ka yano nga panagtagbo, mao kini ang higayon nga gihatagan kita sa Ginoo sa labing dako nga gasa: ang Balaang Eukaristiya, nga mao ang tinapay nga naghatag kinabuhi sa atong kalag. Mao usab kini ang higayon nga gipakita ni Hesus ang tinuod nga kahulugan sa pagpakamas ug pagserbisyo, pinaagi sa paghugas sa tiil sa Iyang mga tinun-an, nga nagtudlo kanato nga ang tinuod nga pagtuo makita sa atong pag-atiman sa usag-usa.

Ang misa karong gabii gipangulohan ni Reverend Father Rymond Abrau Ratilla, nga naggiya kanato sa pag-ampo, paghinumdom, ug pagbag-o sa atong kaugalingon.

Hinaot nga ang grasya ug gugma nga atong nasinati karong gabii magpabilin sa atong mga kasingkasing, ug maghimo kanato nga mas maayong mga tawo nga andam maghatag ug magserbisyo sa uban matag adlaw. 🙏
