We sincerely apologize that the Youth Church Christmas Party and Fun Run will no longer push through due to personal reasons. Grabe ka blessed nga gabei! 🙏 We had our Bible Drill, Treasure Hunt, and other fun youth activities, lingaw kaayo pero at the same time, daghan gyud mi nakat-unan about God’s Word. Bisag kusog ang ulan ug gamay lang mi naka-attend, thankful gihapon me sa Ginoo kay naa gihapon mga batan-on nga niapil, showing their love and commitment to Him. After our activity, perfect timing pud nga nagsugod ang Black Rosary nila Nanay ug sa uban nga mga kauban, ug of course, niapil pud mi. While praying, we truly felt the presence of Mama Mary, guiding us and interceding for everyone. ❤️ Pag human sa rosary, peaceful kaayo, it felt like Mama Mary was reminding us to always stay close to Jesus.
We ended the night with a silent prayer together with the youth. In that quiet moment, we talked to God in our own ways thankful, hopeful, and at peace. Bisag gamay ra mi, na realized namo nga dili importante kung pila ta, but unsa ka sincere ang pag-ampo ug pag-alagad nato sa Ginoo. Super grateful kaau me, Lord, for this beautiful and meaningful night. Even with the rain, You reminded us that as long as there is faith and love, You are always in our midst.

Joining the Diocesan Youth Day 2025 in Cabanglasan was more than just an event — it was a spiritual journey, a moment of transformation, and a true encounter with God’s love. As young people representing the Guihean Youth Apostolate, we came with open hearts, unsure of what to expect, but God surprised us with more than we could ever imagine.

From the worship songs that lifted our souls, to the talks that spoke deeply to our hearts, and the friendships that blossomed along the way — we saw God moving in every detail. We laughed, we prayed, we cried, and we grew — as individuals, as a youth group, and as children of Christ. We are truly humbled and grateful to have been part of such a meaningful and spirit-filled celebration of faith.

"We, the Guihean Youth Apostolate, lift our hearts in deep gratitude to everyone who made our journey to Diocesan Youth Day 2025 in Cabanglasan not just possible, but truly memorable and life-changing.

This experience has renewed our faith, strengthened our bond as youth united in Christ, and opened our hearts to God’s immense love working through His people. As we reflect on everything we’ve encountered — the joy of fellowship, the power of worship, the inspiring messages, and the quiet moments of grace — we recognize that none of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of the people and community who stood behind us.

Pope Francis' funeral is allegedly "being rehearsed" after the 88-year-old pontiff warned he "may not survive" double pneumonia.

According to Swiss newspaper Blick, the Swiss Guard protecting the Pope is already preparing for his funeral, with members under a curfew as they are "preparing for the pontiff's death".

Meanwhile, the pope has told confidants that he may not survive a case of pneumonia which saw him being rushed to Rome's Gemelli Hospital last Friday, with doctors telling him "in no uncertain terms he was at risk of dying" if he stayed at the Vatican.

Doctors diagnosed him with a "complex" respiratory infection and barred him from taking part in several engagements, with the Vatican cancelling or rescheduling his papal audiences this week.

"Laboratory tests, chest X-ray, and the Holy Father's clinical condition continue to present a complex picture," the Vatican said. The infection is of particular concern because the Pope had part of his lung removed many years ago

Pope Francis had previously revealed he has "already prepared" his tomb, but the location of his grave and the coffin itself would be a break from tradition, with his final resting place being in the basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore in Rome's Esquilino neighbourhood instead of in the grottoes beneath the Vatican's St Peter's Basilica with most of his predecessors.
