NOTICE TO THE PARISHIONERS:

Please note that the annual feast day celebration of San Vicente Ferrer, traditionally observed on April 5th, was not celebrated this year due to its falling within the Octave of Easter.

After consultation with our Parish Priest, and with the Bishop's suggestion and encouragement, the select Belen Executive Homes officers together with select chapel officers have decided to reschedule the celebration to the fourth Saturday of April to prevent future overlaps with Holy Week or the Octave of Easter, which begins on Easter Sunday and ends on the Second Sunday of Easter of the Divine Mercy.

This adjustment aims to ensure that the feast day festivities do not coincide with these sacred periods, as April 5th can occasionally fall within them due to its variable date.

We appreciate your understanding and continued support for the San Vicente Ferrer Chapel and the entire Parish of St. Jude Thaddeus. 🙏

[Updates with Erratum]

Please see the image below for the updated schedule of Holy Week Activities with erratum for tomorrow, Good Friday, that is found on page 1 of the latest issue of our parish newsletter.

As usual, we do not celebrate Mass on Good Friday. We erroneously noted there will be one on the current issue of Kahayag. Instead, let’s commemorate Jesus’ sacrifice through the following:

✝️ 5 am - Via Crucis - SJTP & SLRC
✝️ 12 pm - Seven Last Words - SJTP & SLRC
✝️ 3 pm - Liturgy of the Word, Veneration of the Cross, and Procession of Santo Entierro with the Seven Sorrows of Mary - SJTP & SLRC
