I realized, that you cannot worship God without a personal encounter... but later on, we get to know that He has been trying to have an encounter with us, that He has been with us all along, it's just that aminin man natin o hindi but sometimes we took Him for granted, sometimes we ignore Him- whether accidentally or willfully, sometimes we are too busy that we don't have the time to listen to Him... Sometimes we wonder "Where is He?", but hey, we being alive is already a proof that He is with us, that He is there watching over us, because we could have died in our sleep and yet we still wake up each day to enjoy our daily lives, enjoying all the blessings He has given us- the air we breath, the mountains and the beautiful sceneries, our job, our livelihoods , and even the very life we are living, they are all gifts of God to us, and yet we still forget Him, we still forget to be grateful to Him, to worship Him and to give Him thanks... sometimes we could go on with our day without even remembering Him, and then when something bad happens we say "God where were You?"...
why do we only remember Him when we fall down, when in reality He has been with us all along, our constant companion who is always with us in whatever situations we are in, whether in good or in bad He is always there- HE IS THERE, WE ENCOUNTER HIM EVERYDAY, sabi ko nga everything we see is His work... who protects us when we go to work? who protects us when we travel or when we go with our daily lives? who is it that shields us daily para hindi tau mapasama, para hindi tau magkasakit?
minsan kasi when we say "encounter" our thought is kailangan may maramdaman ka sa sarili mo, kailangan may makita ka talaga na physical manifestations or kailangan may mangyari... we encounter Him every day, it's just that sometimes we are just too deaf to hear Him and too insensitive to feel Him... all it takes is for us to humble ourselves , to acknowledge Him and realize that He is always with us...
please don't get me wrong, hindi ko po sinasabi na mali ung physical manifestations and ung may maramdaman ka talaga sa sarili mo because I myself has experienced those things and they added greatly to the growth of my faith, kasi when we get to experience God in those senses, mas titibay talaga ang paniniwala natin because we could actually feel Him... my point is, when we are always looking and waiting for those kind of encounter we will miss Him,and as a result un na ung sinasabi ko na hindi na natin Siya marinig at maramdaman kasi nga iba ang hinihintay nating mangyari, iba ang ini-expect natin na encounter...
so when encountering God is daily, then worshipping Him and praising Him, acknowledging Him and offering Him our gratitude should become our daily lifestyle... IT SHOULD BE OUR LIFESTYLE...
