Making Disciples is not an easy task, it is a gargantuan task that involves leading people, training them in word and deed, follow you as their model. Just like Jesus did to His disciples, He ate and lived with them in order to imitate His words and His deeds, because He knows when He leaves them, they will do what their master was doing, and do more great things than that.

As Disciples, we must follow God's instructions to the letter, in order for us to be like Him. Prayer and Dependence on God is one of the keys to that.

In 1 Samuel 15, King Saul was ordered to destroy all Amalekites by the Lord of Hosts,. He did so, but didn't follow with the exact instruction that he need to destroy all. When Samuel heard about the expedition, he immediately went to Saul to examine and know the outcome of the siege, but to his surprise, Saul didn't follow the exact word of the Lord of hosts, because he feared his people, not the God Almighty, from there, Saul was stripped of his Kingship.

As 1 Samuel 15:22 says, OBEDIENCE IS BETTER THAN SACRIFICE. We Christians must follow exactly what the Lord has ordered us to do so. Partial Obedience will not bear fruit because He gives His life us fully.

Do we fully surrender our life to Him, or we still hold back because of our Pride, our Image to others and other things that will not please God?

Always remember, there is a Consequence in our Disobedience.

In Acts of the Apostles, two followers of the Way, Ananias and Sapphira did sell their properties but they didn't give the whole proceed of the sale. Peter, being prompted by the Holy Spirit, questioned the two, and when they didn't answer truthfully, they sinned against the Holy Spirit and died immediately in the space, drawing fear to the other followers.

Romans 6:23 reminds us that "for the wages of sin is death", especially, when we sin against the Holy Spirit, we are removed immediately to God's immense grace.

We can come back to Him if we truly say sorry for our sins, do penance, and face the consequences that our own fault brings.

So, the challenge for each one of us: are we going to say the truth or lie and face the consequence?

As King David sinned and caused harm to Uzziah, the husband of Bathsheba, God condemned him through the Prophet Nathan, and gave consequence to the sin that he had done.

The cost of his sin, the consequence is the death of the child between David and Bathsheba, and to remove his kingship temporarily.

As Christians, we must own our faults rather than deflect because consequence will come, sometimes immediately, many times, after a time.

The cost is consequence is big, remember this.
