The Assumption of Mary is a Catholic dogma that Mary, at the end of her earthly life, was taken body and soul into heaven, defined by Pope Pius XII on 1 November 1950 in his apostolic constitution Munificentissimus Deus.

Today we celebrate the Feast of Saint Thomas Aquinas, a great teacher of the Church who showed us that faith and reason are not enemies, but companions on the journey to truth. Through his life, writings, and humility before God, he reminds us that true wisdom is found not only in knowledge, but in loving and seeking the Truth who is God Himself.
