The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Manila’s MWP (Ministry with PSDS – Persons in Street-Dwelling Situations) is appealing for support for our brothers and sisters in street-dwelling situations who are currently housed in our partner institutions and safe spaces.
As the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) intensifies Tropical Depression NENENG, with two other tropical cyclones being monitored both within and outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), the situation remains a concern for our vulnerable communities.
During this time, our priority is to help ensure that the PSDS already sheltered by our partner institutions have access to food, basic necessities, and essential care as they remain safe from the effects of the weather.
We are preferably accepting the following donations:
🍱 Ready-to-Eat Hot Meals
☕ Coffee and Milk
🍞 Bread
💊 OTC Medicines – for colds, cough, and fever
💰 Monetary Donations
Your generosity can help provide comfort, nourishment, and protection to our brothers and sisters who are already under the care of our partner institutions.

IN PHOTOS | RCAM EMPLOYEES’ BOWLING ACTIVITY

The Roman Catholic Archbishop of Manila (RCAM) employees gathered earlier today at Paeng’s Bowling Center, Robinsons Ermita, for a meaningful and enjoyable bowling activity organized by the Human Resource Development Department (HRDD).

The activity provided an opportunity for employees to strengthen camaraderie, teamwork, and sportsmanship, while fostering fellowship and stronger relationships among colleagues beyond the workplace.

Through friendly competition and shared moments of joy, the activity highlighted the importance of building a workplace community where everyone can connect, support one another, and grow together.

The RCAM family continues to journey and serve together—with teamwork, fellowship, and a spirit of sportsmanship.

𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐆𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐁𝐄𝐂 𝐓𝐎𝐆𝐄𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑

The RCAM Office for Strategic Management (OSM), led by its Priest Director, Fr. Jason Laguerta, convened an initial meeting with the Vicariate Clergy Coordinators for Basic Ecclesial Communities (BEC)—one of the MAEA Pastoral Focus Areas—at the Arzobispado de Manila in Intramuros, Manila.

Through synodal listening and dialogue, the clergy coordinators shared the current situation, experiences, and challenges of BECs in their respective parishes and vicariates. They also offered proposals and recommendations on how BECs can be further strengthened.

The BEC Ministry, headed by Fr. Benjie Ledesma, then presented its plans and directions. Joining Fr. Benjie were Mylene Enriquez, BEC Ministry Coordinator, and Andres “Tatang” Mendoza, BEC Ministry Volunteer.

The next step is to establish a BEC Council in every vicariate, fostering greater collaboration and helping build vibrant communities of faith at the grassroots level.

The Conference of Bishops approved the elevation of the memorial of St. Ezechiel Moreno to an Obligatory memorial (CBCP 127th Plenary Assembly).

We encourage all parishes, chapels, and communities to take note of these liturgical reminders and make the necessary preparations so that our celebrations may be carried out faithfully, reverently, and in accordance with the norms of the Church.

May these celebrations deepen our faith and lead us ever closer to Christ, through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the saints.
