The first ever Plenary Indulgence was granted here, at the St Mary of the Angels Church, where the Portiuncula of St Francis is found. Today we celebrate its Feast Day and obtain the Indulgence provided we go to confession, receive Holy Communion, pray for the Pope and do a good deed.
