From the Depths of Vice to the Grace of God

Brother Anthony Polo’s story is a powerful testimony that no life is too far for God to reach. Once an unbeliever, he was known as a leader among those lost in addiction and vice. A fisherman by trade, his days were filled with disbelief—until one ordinary moment changed everything.

While tuning his radio, Brother Anthony encountered the teachings of Brother Eli Soriano and the Members Church of God International (MCGI). Without realizing it, he found himself listening longer each day, deeply moved by the truths he had never heard before. With a sincere heart, he wrote a letter to the program through the Makati Post Office expressing his desire to learn more. Just a week later, MCGI servants arrived at his home to conduct indoctrination sessions. Soon after, he chose to be baptized—despite his wife’s strong opposition.

The decision to serve brought immediate trials. His siblings resented him for prioritizing Church gatherings over fishing, and although he faithfully gave all his earnings to his wife, she refused to give him fare money to attend services at the locale. Yet by the mercy of God, Brother Anthony was never forsaken. God sustained his livelihood, and in time, his wife's heart softened; she was eventually called into the faith and became a member herself.

God’s saving power was most clearly revealed during a violent storm at sea. When his boat sank, Brother Anthony was pulled deep underwater. In that terrifying moment, a calm voice echoed in his mind: “Breathe. Lie still. Do not be afraid.” Though the waves above were fierce, he felt an unexplainable peace. By God’s grace, he survived and returned safely to shore.

Sessions are held Monday to Friday at 7:00 p.m. (PHT) in all MCGI coordinating centers and locales. You may also join through the livestream on our official social media pages and YouTube Channel.

Marami sa mundo ang nagtuturo ng iba’t ibang aral, kaya’t napakahalagang suriin natin: Alin ba ang galing sa tao, at alin ang galing sa Dios? Naniniwala kami na tanging ang utos ng Dios ang nararapat nating sundin upang magkaroon ng katiyakan ang ating paglilingkod.

Dahil dito, malugod po namin kayong inaanyayahan sa pagbubukas ng MCGI Mass Indoctrination ngayong Disyembre 22, 2025 (Lunes), ganap na ika-7 ng gabi.

Sa loob ng 14 na sesyon, kung loloobin ng Dios, hihimayin natin ang mga doktrina ng ating Panginoong Jesucristo na nakasulat sa Biblia. Ito ay gaganapin tuwing Lunes hanggang Biyernes.
