MILESTONE IN THE JOURNEY OF FAITH A vision realized and a dream in the making - this, in a nutshell, is what the Metropolitan Bible Baptist Church and Ministries have become by God's marvelous grace through the past years.

When money feels tight, something inside us starts to shake. We worry, we panic, we lose sleep.

But here is the truth. The problem is not the price of things. The problem is the size of our faith. When we truly trust God, the tightness of life does not control our hearts. His Word is complete and it has every answer we need.

Take a quiet moment tonight and ask God to search your heart for where fear has replaced trust.

You work hard every day and still wonder if it will be enough. That feeling of not having enough can be heavy.

Everything we have comes from God. He takes care of even the grass in the field that is here today and gone tomorrow. If He cares for something so small, how much more will He care for you, His own creation with a living soul.

Take a quiet moment today and bring your worries to God instead of carrying them alone.

He cried out to God while the crowd laughed at Him. That is the price He paid for us.

Psalm 22 prophesied what would happen to Jesus on the cross. It described His cry to the Father and the people who mocked and scorned Him. The Romans, the Jews, and even one of the thieves beside Him all rejected Him in that moment. He was called a worm, despised, and laughed at. Yet all of this was written long before it happened because God already knew the price His Son would pay.

Pause today and think about what Christ went through on the cross for you.

What if everything you believe in turned out to be empty? That thought alone is enough to shake anyone.

Without the resurrection, faith would be pointless. We would have no hope, no future, and nothing to hold on to. But because Christ rose again, our hope is real. Our faith is not wasted. We are not the most miserable people on earth. We are the most hopeful.

When doubt creeps in today, remind yourself that your hope is built on something that cannot be destroyed.

Not everyone who smiles at you is for you. That is a hard truth to accept.

Even among the twelve closest people to Jesus, one of them was a betrayer. Judas shook hands with the Lord but was planning to sell Him out. The same thing happens today. In every group, every workplace, every home, there can be someone who looks loyal but is not. It does not mean we should live in fear. It means we should be wise and trust God with the people around us.

Bring your relationships to God in prayer today, even the ones that feel uncertain.

We say we care about the people around us. But have we told them about the one thing that can truly change their lives?

There is only one way to be saved, and it is through Jesus Christ alone. That is why it matters so much that we pray for the people we love and even for the strangers we meet every day. But prayer is just the start. We also need to share the good news with them because that is not just an option, it is what we are called to do.

Take one moment today to pray for someone you know who has not yet heard the gospel, and ask God to give you the courage to share it.

Sometimes we want proof before we believe. We want to see it, touch it, feel it before we trust.

But real faith does not wait for proof. It holds on to what God has promised even when we cannot see it yet. The hope we have is not based on what our eyes can show us. It is based on something greater. And that kind of faith is what keeps us from falling apart when life gets hard.

Today, choose to trust God with one thing you cannot see or control yet.

We say we know who Jesus is. But do we really understand what He gave up for us?

The one who created everything that exists, the one who gave life to the very first man, chose to leave His throne. He humbled Himself and went through the most painful death on the cross. He did not do it because He had to. He did it because He loves you and me.

Take a quiet moment today and thank God for a love that big.

The world is not looking for perfect people. It is looking for real ones who know the truth.

If your life has been changed by Jesus Christ, then you already know what needs to be done. Be faithful to it. Be passionate about it. Do not stop. The people around you need to know that there is a God who loves them and gave His life for them. That is the work that matters most.

Choose one person today and show them the love of Christ through how you treat them.

15/05/2026

Do you love God more than the people closest to you?

It is one of the hardest questions a believer can face. But when someone we love starts walking away from God, we have a choice to make. We can stay quiet and let it slide, or we can stand firm on what we know is right, even when it costs us. Loving God first does not mean loving your family less. It means you love them the right way.

Be honest with God today about where your loyalties truly stand.
