“𝐈 𝐚𝐦 𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈 𝐰𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐝𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐆𝐨𝐝”

Today, we honor San Lorenzo Ruiz, the first Filipino saint, whose unwavering faith and courage continue to inspire generations of Filipinos.

His words reflect a courage rooted not in fearlessness, but in a profound commitment to his faith. He reminds us that the strength that comes from standing firmly on what we believe in and remaining faithful to God through everything.

San Lorenzo Ruiz, pray for us!

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him. So that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit” — 𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟏𝟓:𝟏𝟑

This reminds us that true hope comes from God. When we place our trust in Him, He fills our hearts with joy and peace, even when life feels uncertain. Through the power of the Holy Spirit, the hope we receive from God can overflow into the way we live.

Let us learn to trust God in every season, knowing that our hope is not dependent on our circumstances, but grounded in His presence and promises. 🤍🌷

“Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” — 𝟏 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝟓:𝟏𝟔-𝟏𝟖

This Bible verse teaches us three powerful ways to strengthen our relationship with God: Rejoice, pray, and give thanks. Rejoicing does not mean that everything in our lives will always be easy. Instead. It reminds us to find hope in God even during our difficult moments. Through continual prayer, we remain connected to Him while giving thanks, which helps us recognize His blessings.

May we carry these three reminders with us each day. 🙏🏻✨

“You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you.” — 𝐈𝐬𝐚𝐢𝐚𝐡 𝟐𝟔:𝟑

In a world full of noise and uncertainties, may we remember where peace comes from. 🤍

This week, let us surrender our worries and place our trust in Him. Whatever comes our way, may we continue to fix our eyes on the One who never fails.

𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐁𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐅𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫! 🎉

Today, we joyfully celebrate the birthday of His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, thanking God for the gift of his life and his vocation to serve as the shepherd of the Universal Church.

May the Lord continue to grant him wisdom and good health as he faithfully leads the Church in serving God’s people.

Let us offer a prayer of thanksgiving for our Holy Father and ask the Lord to guide him in his mission. 🤍

Today, we lift high the Cross of Christ, not as a symbol of defeat, but as the greatest sign of God’s love. ✝️

Through the Cross, Christ teaches us that love is willing to sacrifice, and hope is in our midst even in our darkest moments. May we never lose the courage to carry our crosses, knowing that we do not carry them alone.

May the Holy Cross remind us to follow Christ with unwavering faith. 🤍

𝐅𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐕𝐢𝐫𝐠𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲.

Today, we celebrate the birth of Mary, the woman chosen by God to become the Mother of Jesus Christ. Her birth marks the beginning of a beautiful part of God’s plan for our salvation.

Through Mary, God’s promise of salvation would eventually be fulfilled as she became the mother of our Savior. Her life became closely woven into the story of Christ, from His birth and ministry to His death on the Cross.

Mary’s life was shaped by faith, humility, and her complete trust in God. Her willingness to accept His will allowed her to take part in a plan much greater than herself. Even in moments she could not fully understand, she remained faithful to the path God had placed before her.

Her “yes” was not simply one moment, but a life lived in faith and obedience. As the Mother of Christ, Mary continues to be a model of trust and devotion, leading us closer to her Son.

As we celebrate the birth of our Blessed Mother, may we ask for her guidance as we continue on our own journeys, trusting in God’s plans and remaining faithful to where He leads us. 🕊️

ADVISORY ON THE USE OF THE UST NAME, SEAL, AND LOGO BY STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS | September 1, 2026

The Office for Student Affairs (OSA) reminds all student organizations to observe University policies on organizational recognition and the responsible use of the University’s name, seal, logo, and other identifying marks.

Under the UST Student Handbook, the name “University of Santo Tomas” or “UST,” and its registered seal, may not be used unless duly authorized by the Office of the Secretary-General (OSG) and duly processed through the pertinent University offices.

Accordingly, organizations or groups that are not included in the official list of recognized student organizations for A.Y. 2026–2027, including those with pending or incomplete applications, should refrain from using the official UST seal, logo, name, or other University marks in a manner that may imply official recognition, accreditation, endorsement, or authorization by the University. This prohibition applies to social media pages and posts, publicity and event materials, registration forms, correspondence, sponsorship materials, merchandise, organizational documents, and other printed or digital materials.

Duly recognized organizations are encouraged to help preserve and promote the University’s identity by securing the appropriate authorization before using the UST name, seal, logo, or other identifying marks, consistent with applicable laws and University policies.

Student organizations that may need guidance on their recognition status or the proper use of University marks are welcome to coordinate with OSA.

We appreciate your cooperation in upholding the integrity of the University’s identity.
