- The Pope’s monthly intention: For collaboration between the different religious traditions.
Let us pray that we believers of different religious traditions will work together to defend and promote peace, justice and human fraternity.
- OFS: For the national fraternities of Great Britain, France, Croatia, Cuba and Asia-Oceania Congress.
- Vocational promotion: For a fruitful and close collaboration between the OFS fraternities and the spiritual assistants to promote vocations to the Secular Franciscan Order.

ES: MENSAJE DEL MINISTRO GENERAL TIBOR KAUSER OFS
En estos años estamos celebrando los Centenarios Franciscanos, y esta es una maravillosa oportunidad para todos nosotros de volver a las fuentes, de recordar las grandes obras de Dios.
Este es un tiempo especial para recordar y contemplar la vida de San Francisco, para recordar cuánto estuvo Cristo presente en su vida, dándonos un ejemplo para esforzarnos siempre en dejar que Cristo llene nuestras vidas.
Este es un tiempo especial para recordar los orígenes de la espiritualidad franciscana, cómo Dios llamó a San Francisco a vivir una vida fraterna, dándonos el ejemplo de que no hay otra forma de vivir nuestra vocación franciscana seglar sino en una fraternidad llena de amor.
Este es un tiempo especial para recordar la dedicación de San Francisco a acudir y servir a los más pobres, ayudándonos así a redescubrir quiénes son aquellos a los que debemos dirigirnos y servir.
Y finalmente, este es un tiempo especial para recordar que todo comenzó con el llamado de Dios, que San Francisco escuchó y siguió durante toda su vida, inspirándonos a recordar cómo Dios ha llamado a cada uno de nosotros y a dar gracias por nuestra vocación personal a la vida franciscana seglar.
Abramos nuestros corazones en estos días, especialmente en la fiesta de San Francisco, y demos gracias a Dios por el tesoro de nuestra vocación. Reflexionemos una vez más sobre cómo debemos partir y encontrar las mejores maneras de cumplir lo que Dios nos pide: ¡Ve y repara mi Iglesia!
Se trata realmente de contemplación y vida de oración, pero también mucho de vida apostólica, proclamando el Evangelio con nuestras acciones a aquellos que nos están esperando. No los hagamos esperar demasiado.
¡Que todos tengamos una fiesta bendecida!

Franciscan Witness of Prayer and Solidarity

“Let justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.” (Amos 5:24)

Today, as our nation remembers the painful wounds of tyranny and oppression, we, the Franciscan friars of the Province of San Pedro Bautista, gather in prayer and solidarity with our people. This is a day not only of memory but of moral awakening, a call to live our faith with courage and truth.

Corruption remains a deep wound in our society. It steals the bread from the poor, strangles the hope of the young, and undermines the common good. Beyond politics, it is a sin before God — a betrayal of our vocation to love, serve, and protect life.

As sons of St. Francis who embraced the poor and lived in simplicity, we declare: corruption in all its forms must be rejected. Accountability is demanded of all — no one is exempt, no one excluded. True service of the people means transparency, honesty, and stewardship, not abuse of power or privilege.

This day of prayer is not about political colors or partisan loyalties. It is a moral obligation and Gospel imperative. Silence in the face of injustice is complicity, and the Gospel calls us to be witnesses of truth, even when it is difficult.

And so we proclaim with faith and resolve:
Never again to tyranny! Never again to corruption! Yes to justice, peace, and integrity of creation!

May the Spirit of the Lord lead us to walk as pilgrims of hope. May justice truly roll down like waters in our nation, until honesty, fraternity, and service flow freely once again.

Pope Boniface VIII canonised King Louis IX. Of the saint, one can say summarising his life: He made an alliance with the Lord, keeping his commandments and causing them to be observed by all. GOD AS HIS AIM, FAITH AS HIS GUIDE: this is the secret of his politics and of his holiness. As a Christian, he was the servant of Christ; as a prince, he was his lieutenant: his soul was in no way divided between the aspirations of the Christian and those of the prince; this unity was his strength, as today it is his glory. Christ, who alone reigned in him and through him here on earth, allows him to reign with Him today.
