PANALANGIN PARA SA PAG-ARESTO KAY VP SARA DUTERTE🙏

+ Panginoon,
Amen +

FATHER FLAVIE MASAYA, VP SARA NALUNGKOT? DDS, WALANG NAGAWA?
“CULTURE OF IMPUNITY FINALLY ENDING,” FR. FLAVIE SAYS

“While VP Sara can post bail, the warrant of arrest only confirms that Duterte’s depraved and bloody culture of impunity is finally ending.”

Sa isa pa niyang post, nagpahayag din si Fr. Flavie:

“FINALLY!!! Fiat iustitia! Let justice be done!

FR. FLAVIE VILLANUEVA, SVD REACTS TO SARA DUTERTE ARREST WARRANT

MANILA, Philippines — Social advocate and priest Fr. Flavie Villanueva, SVD, has reacted to the reported issuance of an arrest warrant against Vice President Sara Duterte in connection with the grave threats case involving President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, and former House Speaker Martin Romualdez.

In a post, Fr. Villanueva expressed support for the rule of law, sharing the words “Fiat iustitia!”, a Latin expression meaning “Let justice be done.”

He also raised a question regarding the nature of the case, asking: “Ang kaso, BAKIT BAILABLE!?!!”

The Quezon City Regional Trial Court reportedly issued the arrest warrant in relation to the grave threats complaint filed over alleged threats against the President, the First Lady, and Romualdez.

Fr. Villanueva’s reaction comes amid renewed public discussion over accountability, the rule of law, and the legal proceedings surrounding the Vice President.

The case is expected to undergo further legal proceedings as Duterte and her legal team pursue available remedies under the law.

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF CHARITY🙏❤️

Today, the world observes the International Day of Charity, a day that reminds us of the power of compassion, generosity, and solidarity in responding to poverty, suffering, and human need.

For us as Catholics, charity is more than simply giving money or material things. Charity is an expression of love. It is seeing Christ in another person, especially in those who are poor, forgotten, sick, hungry, lonely, or in need of help.

Jesus reminds us:

“Whatever you did for one of the least brothers of mine, you did for me.”
— Matthew 25:40

This is at the heart of Christian charity. When we feed the hungry, help someone in need, visit the sick, comfort the grieving, welcome the stranger, or simply give our time and attention to someone who feels forgotten, we are serving Christ Himself.

The International Day of Charity is observed every September 5, the anniversary of the death of Saint Teresa of Calcutta (Mother Teresa), who died on September 5, 1997. The United Nations chose this date in recognition of her extraordinary work among the poorest and most vulnerable.

Saint Teresa spent much of her life serving people whom society often overlooked—the poor, the sick, the homeless, the orphaned, and those dying without anyone to care for them. Through the Missionaries of Charity, she dedicated herself to bringing practical help and compassionate presence to people in need around the world.

But her message was never simply about giving things away.

She taught by her life that every person has dignity and is worthy of love. Her service was rooted in her love for Jesus Christ, whom she sought to recognize in every suffering person she encountered.

🌍 Charity, therefore, is not only about changing someone's circumstances. It is also about reminding them that they are not forgotten.

In a world where poverty, hunger, inequality, displacement, sickness, and loneliness continue to affect millions of people, we are called not to remain indifferent.

Sometimes charity means giving what we have.

Sometimes it means volunteering our time.

Sometimes it means sharing our food.

Sometimes it means helping a family who is struggling.

Sometimes it means visiting someone who is alone.

And sometimes, charity can be as simple as listening, forgiving, encouraging, or showing kindness to someone who desperately needs it.

The Church has always called Christians to practice charity through the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy—to feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, clothe the naked, shelter the homeless, visit the sick and imprisoned, bury the dead, as well as to counsel, comfort, forgive, pray, and bear patiently with others.

❤️ We do not need to be rich to be charitable. We simply need a heart willing to love.

On this International Day of Charity, may we ask ourselves:

Who needs my help today?
Whom have I overlooked?
Can I give something—not only from my possessions, but from my time, attention, and love?

May the example of Saint Teresa of Calcutta inspire us to begin with what is right in front of us. We may not be able to solve every problem in the world, but we can make a difference in the life of one person.

A small act of love can become a great blessing.

Let us not wait until we have more before we start giving. Give what you can. Serve where you are. Love the person God places before you.

And above all, let our charity lead others not to ourselves, but to Christ.

🙏 Saint Teresa of Calcutta, you who dedicated your life to serving the poorest of the poor, pray for us.

Teach us to see Christ in the suffering, to give without expecting anything in return, and to love those whom the world often forgets.

May our hands become instruments of God's generosity, our hearts become places of compassion, and our lives become a living witness that love is never wasted.

❤️ “Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”

— Saint Teresa of Calcutta

Today, let us remember: Charity is not merely something we give. It is love put into action.

TODAY IS FIRST SATURDAY DEVOTION TO THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY 🙏
September 5, 2026 | Saturday

Today, we remember the Immaculate Heart of Mary, a heart that loved God deeply, trusted Him completely, and remained faithful through every joy and sorrow.

Mary's life was never without difficulties. She experienced uncertainty, sacrifice, and the pain of watching her Son suffer. Yet through everything, she continued to trust in God. Her life teaches us that faith does not mean having all the answers—it means continuing to say yes to God even when we do not understand His plans.

On this First Saturday, let us come to Mary with our hearts open.

Perhaps there is a prayer you have been waiting for. Perhaps you are worried about your family, carrying a personal struggle, or simply feeling tired and overwhelmed. Whatever is in your heart today, bring it to Mary and ask her to lead you closer to Jesus.

🌹 “Do whatever He tells you.”

Mary never keeps us away from her Son. She always points us toward Jesus. Her greatest desire is that we know Him, love Him, and remain close to Him.

Today, let us take a moment to pray the Holy Rosary, attend Holy Mass, make a good confession, or simply spend a quiet moment in prayer. Let us offer our prayers and sacrifices with a sincere heart and ask for Mary's intercession.

May the Immaculate Heart of Mary teach us to be faithful when life is difficult, patient when prayers seem unanswered, and trusting when God's plan is not yet clear.

O Mary, Immaculate Heart, take our worries and place them before your Son. Help us to trust as you trusted, to love as you loved, and to remain faithful as you remained faithful.

May your gentle maternal care bring comfort to every troubled heart today.

🌹 Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us.
🌹 Immaculate Heart of Mary, lead us closer to Jesus.
🌹 Immaculate Heart of Mary, be our refuge and our hope.

🙏 Mary, Mother of God and our Mother, pray for us and for our families.
