Ang ating Dambana ay may ugnayan sa ilang mga mahahalagang Simbahan sa pananampalatayang Katoliko.

Una ay ang ating ugnayan sa Papal Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore sa Roma. Ang ating Dambana ang kauna-unahang simbahan sa Arkidiyosesis ng Maynila na may ganitong ugnayan.

Pangalawa naman ay ang ating ugnayan o tinatawag na aggregation (twinning) sa Pontifical Shrine of the Holy House of Loreto sa Italya. Ang ating Dambana rin ay ang unang simbahan sa buong Pilipinas na may ganitong ugnayan.

Sa diwang ito, makakamit ng bawat peregrino ang indulhensya at mga natatanging pagpapala sa pamamagitan ng pagdalaw sa ating Dambana kaalinsabay ng pagkukumpisal, pagtanggap ng komunyon, at pagdadasal para sa mga intensyon ng Santo papa.

The second batch of the Antipolensis - Roman Catholic Diocese of Antipolo clergy ended their Marian pilgrimage in Rome and Vatican City in honor of the 400th anniversary of the arrival of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage in the Philippines (1626-2026).

Rev. Fr. Reynante U. Tolentino (Fr. Nante Tolentino), President of the ACSP - Association of Catholic Shrines and Pilgrimages of the Philippines and Rector and Parish Priest of the Diocesan Shrine of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary - La Virgen de Sapao, Cardona, Rizal was among the priests on this batch. He shares to us these pictures of courtesy visits done in Rome during the final days of the pilgrimage.

He made a courtesy visit to Dott. Marco Lucente, who is representing Most Rev. Rino Fisichella, Pro-Prefect of the Dicastery for Evangelization - Section on Fundamental Questions for Evangelization in the World (New Evangelization) at their office on behalf of sanctuaries in the Philippines.

He also met with His Eminence, Luis Antonio G. Tagle, Pro-Prefect of the Dicastery for Evangelization - Section on First Evangelization and Particular Churches at the Pontificio Collegio Filippino.

At this week's Wednesday Papal Audience at St. Peter's Basilica, Fr. Tolentino joined Bishop Ruperto C. Santos and his fellow clergymen for the formal gifting of the image of Nuestra Señora de la Paz y Buen Viaje, Virgen de Antipolo in thanksgiving for the anniversary at Antipolo Diocese.

We pray for the safe travel of our ACSP President and the Antipolo clergy as they return from their Marian pilgrimage to the Philippines. 🙏🙏🙏

𝑷𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝑺𝒂𝒃𝒂𝒏𝒂 𝑺𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒂

Narito ang pamistang Sabana Santa o banal na kumot ng ating Mahal na Señor, Lolo Uweng ng Landayan, na hindi lamang bumabalot sa Panginoong nakahimlay, kundi sumasalamin din sa hiwaga ng Kanyang pag-ibig at pagliligtas.

Makikita sa Sabana Santa ang Kamahal-mahalang Puso ni Hesus, ang pusong nag-aalab sa walang hanggang pag-ibig para sa sangkatauhan. Ito ang Pusong nasugatan dahil sa ating mga kasalanan ngunit nananatiling bukas upang tayo ay tanggapin at iligtas. Bilang Kordero ng Diyos, inialay ni Kristo ang Kanyang sarili upang tubusin ang sanlibutan, at ang Kanyang puso ay naging bukal ng awa, habag, at buhay na walang hanggan.

Ang mga disenyong bulaklak naman ay halaw sa Sampaguita, ang ipinagmamalaking bulaklak ng San Pedro, Laguna, at sagisag ng dalisay na pag-aalay ng pananampalataya ng mga deboto kay Lolo Uweng.

Makikita rin sa disenyo ang sisidlan, isang sagisag na may malalim na kahulugan sa pananampalatayang Kristiyano. Ang sisidlan ay sumisimbolo kay Kristo bilang bukal at tagapagdala ng biyaya ng Diyos. Tulad ng isang banal na lalagyan, si Hesus ang sisidlan ng awa, pag-ibig, at kaligtasan na ibinuhos para sa sangkatauhan sa pamamagitan ng Kanyang pagpapakasakit, kamatayan at mulig pagkabuhay.

Sa bawat burda at detalye ay mababanaag ang pananampalataya, sining, at debosyong iniaalay ng sambayanan sa ating Mahal na Señor, Lolo Uweng. Ito ay hinabi sa Pila, Laguna.

The ACSP - Association of Catholic Shrines and Pilgrimages of the Philippines joins in the remarkable joy of the reception of a replica image of Nuestra Señora de la Paz y Buen Viaje, Virgen de Antipolo, Mother of the Filipino People from The Antipolo Cathedral by His Holiness, Pope Leo XIV.

The gifting of the image was led by His Excellency, Most Rev. Ruperto C. Santos, D.D., Bishop of Antipolo and Rector of the International Shrine. Fr. Reynante Tolentino, ACSP President is also among the members of the Antipolo clergy present during today's Wednesday General Audience at Vatican City.
