Let us Celebrate Halloween, the Catholic way!

The Our Lady of Fatima Parish - Bacood - CFC Kids for Christ initiative, “CELEBRATING HALLOWEEN - the CATHOLIC WAY,” which will feature a “Parade of Saints” on Sunday, November 2.

This event is open to the whole family, who are invited to dress up as their favorite Saints and join in commemorating All Saints' Day.

Please note the important details:
-Assembly is at the Church Patio at 4:00 PM.
-Participants are highly encouraged to register and attend the 4:30 PM Mass.
-The parade will commence immediately after the 4:30 PM Mass.
-Do not forget to bring your Treat Basket!

Let us Celebrate Halloween - the Catholic way.

Let us remind our children that true heroes are the Saints, those who followed Jesus with all their hearts! 🫶😇

✨ Parade of Saints: Celebrating Halloween the Catholic Way! ✝️

The Parade of Saints is a joyful 20-minute activity of faith-nourishing alternative that celebrates our true role models: the Saints, for community events like MC Gatherings or CFC Chapter Assemblies, and should be conducted as the first activity of the assembly 💖

Instead of scary costumes, children dress as their favorite Saint, sharing inspiring stories and learning about virtues like courage, purity, and love for God. It's a fun, creative way to show that holiness is possible today! 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️

The program's recommended flow begins with the Introduction of the costumed KFCs, followed by the Parade of Saints itself, and concludes with a KFC Song and Dance. Suggested songs for this activity are I’ll Follow Jesus, Called to Love, Love Makes Us Strong. CFCs and parents may opt to prepare small gifts, treats, or loot bags for the KFCs after the parade 🎁

Just a quick reminder to make sure you're all set for Saturday. Here's what to bring:

✅ Clothing provisions good for 2 days & 1 night (include white shirt/polo, pants & shoes)
✅ Family Photo
✅ Food Utensils (washable plates, spoon & fork; bottled water)
✅ Toiletries (soap, shampoo, toothpaste & toothbrush)
✅ Sleeping mats
