The Church has more than 84,000 full-time teaching missionaries serving in 451 missions in 150 countries worldwide. Thousands of young and senior service missionaries also serve in various capacities.

The Philippines is blessed to be part of the Lord’s hastening work as missionaries continue to share the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the nation. With 26 missions across the country and 5 new missions opening on July 1, 2026.

As the work moves forward, we rejoice in seeing more opportunities for people throughout the Philippines to come unto Christ.

Last May 3, 2026, the Young Single Adults held their Home Evening filled with fun games, meaningful lessons, and new friendships! 🤍

Through games like “Two Truths and One Lie” and “Find Three Things in Common,” everyone had the opportunity to get to know each other better while learning more about our divine potential and identity as children of Heavenly Father.

The activity reminded us that Heavenly Father is always aware of us, guiding us through every stage of life and helping us become who we are meant to be. ✨

All Ward Council members are warmly invited and encouraged to attend our Temple and Family History Leadership Instruction on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 3:00 PM in San Marcelino Chapel.

As we gather together as leaders, we will counsel on how we can better help individuals and families draw closer to the Savior through temple and family history work. Together, we will discuss ways to strengthen youth, new members, and families, and help more members experience the blessings of taking their own family names to the temple through FamilySearch and Ordinances Ready.

We look forward to learning, counseling, and being inspired together as we strengthen this sacred work in our ward.

Calling all Manila 2nd Ward Primary children and parents!

Join us this Saturday for our combined Stake Primary Service Activity with Manila 1st Ward as we work together in cleaning the chapel. It will be a fun and meaningful opportunity for the children to learn the joy of service, teamwork, and caring for the house of the Lord. Please come ready to participate and enjoy the activity together. Don’t forget to bring an extra shirt, a hand towel, and a water bottle. We’re excited to serve and have fun with everyone!

May 10, 2026, the Manila 2nd Ward joyfully celebrated Mother’s Day in gratitude for the women who strengthen our homes and our ward family. 💗

In Sacrament Meeting, we reflected on family and honored the quiet strength, sacrifices, and Christlike love of mothers and all who lovingly fulfill mothering roles in their families and callings.

The celebration continued after classes with the Primary children sharing a musical number and tokens of love, followed by thoughtful gifts from the Relief Society. The Elders Quorum also expressed their appreciation through a heartfelt serenade and simple tokens for the mothers of the ward.

To all mothers and mother figures—fathers who serve both roles, devoted titas, and sisters who nurture others through their callings—thank you. Your faith, prayers, and sacrifices bless countless lives.
