Come and join us in our Sunday Divine Service. For this Sunday's message will center on the confession of Peter. And it tells us that every Christian should always be ready to confess his/her Christian faith about Jesus Christ. The Confession of Faith, gives us the assurance that Jesus is our Rock where He builds HIs Church. And He protects His Church from Satan, that even the gates of hell cannot prevail over it, this is the promise of Jesus. Confessing our Christian Faith about Jesus Christ, is expressing our confidence in Jesus Christ.

Our topic will about the Confession of Peter, but we will take a different approach on this, we will not only look at Peter in this Gospel narrative, but the Word of God will bring us to Judas.

Confessing Jesus as the Christ, the Son of the Living God, leads to believing in Jesus Christ.This is loyalty to Christ as the expression or fruit of the FAITH in JESUS CHRIST.Faith also defines loyalty as the opposite of betraying Jesus Christ.

Desperation is defined as the strong feeling of sadness, fear, and lost of hope. All of us must be familiar with this feeling, because in one way or another, we do have our share of experiences on this. it may come to us in different ways and for a different reasons. At times this will also make us forget that we are Christians who have a God in Jesus Christ who knows our needs and always ready to help us.

With this, you are all invited to join us in our Saturday Evening On-Line Bible Study at 7:30 p.m. And our topic will be about the Faith of the Canaanite Woman, and the Great Love of Jesus to those who come to Him by faith.

Twelfth Sunday After Pentecost
August 16, 2026

Come and join us in our Sunday Divine Service at 10 a.m. Let us be fed by God's spiritual food that He prepared for us: His Word and the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper. These are the greatest blessings that God will give to us on Sunday because it forgives us from our sins and it refreshes our faith in Jesus Christ.

The Word of God for us this Sunday will bring us to the healing of the daughter of a gentile woman, whose need brought her to the presence of Jesus Christ begging for mercy, for healing; and Jesus Christ saw the greatness of her faith, and answered her prayer and commended her. Faith points us to Jesus Christ and see the greatness of His love to us. Jesus see us. Jesus hear us. Jesus heal us. Jesus save us.

Matthew 15: 21-28

Come and join us in our Saturday Evening On-Line Bible Study at 7:30 p.m. For our Bible Study topic will be about Jesus Walks on the Water. Let us see how Jesus loved His disciples, how he took good care of them, especially in the midst where His presence mattered the most. And as we look at the disciples and of course Peter, we can say that this Gospel narrative was purposely written in the Bible for our learning, because it simply shows that the disciples are the very US.
