Letting go is not always easy but it is worth it.

God will not take away something that helps us love Him more or get closer to Him. He just asks us to let go of the things that affects our relationship and fellowship with Him or hinders our growth.

So, learn to hold things and even people loosely. The Scripture says even our life, if we love it, surely we will loose it (John 12:25).

Stress and problems are inevitable. But they can be managed.

Here are some reminders that will help us go through the day.

At the end of it, it's God who gives the real comfort. Not food. Not people. Not money.

"In the multitude of my thoughts within me Thy comforts delight my soul."

If we believe that God is involved in all of our affairs, then we know that our reference point of what's happening around us is God.

Someone is behaving badly towards you? It is a test of love and patience.

Overwhelmed with so many things at work, in the family, and relationships? Trust God and receive His grace and strength.

Grieving because of losing a loved one? Let God do the healing.

Can't understand what's going on? Remember His promises. He is sovereign.

My friend, we experience and encounter so many unpleasant things in life. But I hope that instead of asking God the "whys and what ifs," we learn to ask Him, "What do you want me to learn from this?"

Walking in the path of a faithful and righteous Christian is always impossible without the grace and enabling power of God. Rely on Him not on ourselves.

Every now and then we have to be reminded of the basic because we have that tendency to forget.

√ Be grateful and appreciate small blessings.
Sometimes we are too focused on big things that we undermine our small blessings. Well, sometimes those small blessings matter. It is a proof that even small details of our lives, God wants to be involved. Be thankful always

√ Show others that we care.
With the hustle and bustle of life, let's not forget that we live in a world of people. No matter how busy we are, let's find time to connect with people and show them that we care. It is one way of making them see Jesus in our lives.

√ Take one step at a time. Don't hurry. Have time to relax. Reflect what matters most in life and understand that God has a plan for us and we don't need to push things to accomplish His plan. Seat still. Listen.

Remember, there's always hope whenever we have the chance to open our eyes. Yesterday's trouble will not be the same as today. Learn from yesterday's failure but move on to today's opportunity.

God is always gracious to let us experience His many blessings. One of those is the chance to start again after a season of storm.

The world sees brokenness as weakness and defeat. That's why we often hide it from people. We pretend to be strong though we know we are weak inside. We show others that we are invincible though we are frail.

Do you see the message? It is tiring to put a mask to show the world that we are okay.

Psalm 147:3 reminds us that it's okay not to feel okay and it's fine to be broken. Brokenness and wounds of the soul are not ugly if we place them in the Lord's care. We can just be honest to God and admit our brokenness. Then, He will fulfill His promise to heal our broken hearts and bind our aching soul.

Come and be close to Him if your heart feels broken and your soul is aching.
