MEA Daily Inspirations
July 13, 2026

Scripture: Genesis 28:10–19a

💭Reflection
Jacob encounters God in an unexpected place while fleeing in fear and uncertainty. What seemed like an ordinary stop along the journey became a sacred moment as God reminded him, “𝘐 𝘢𝘮 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘺𝘰𝘶… 𝘐 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶.”

We often wait for God in extraordinary moments, yet God frequently meets us in the ordinary...in our uncertainties, transitions, and quiet pauses. Even when the road ahead feels unclear, God’s presence remains constant. Like Jacob, we may discover that the places we thought were empty are the very places where God has been walking with us all along.

Our greatest assurance is not that we know what lies ahead, but that God goes with us wherever we go.

🙏Prayer
Faithful God, open our eyes to recognize Your presence in the ordinary moments of life. When we feel uncertain or afraid, remind us that You are always with us, guiding our steps and keeping Your promises. Help us to trust Your presence and walk each day with confidence in Your unfailing love. Journeying also with people who longs for your presence. May our ordinary days and encounter help them encounter your most. Amen.
