UPC Tondo A local assembly in Tondo, Manila affiliated with the United Pentecostal Church (Phils.), Inc., headed by Rev. Numeriano B. Trinidad, Jr. and Min. Sonia H.

Trinidad. The United Pentecostal Church of Tondo is founded in 1987 by Rev. Trinidad, Jr and his wife, Sis. Since its onset as a local congregation, the church was transferred twice - from a residential garage in Hermosa Street, Gagalangin, Tondo, Manila to Raxabago Street, Tondo, Manila before it finally settled to its current local church building in Cavite Street, Gagalangin, Tondo, Manila. The local church is considered a family for its members and even for its new friends and guests. It is also known for its untiring support to the missions and evangelism programs. Everyone has a special spot in the church. There are various age-based departments such as the Children's Church (6-12 years old), Teens Department (13-17 years old), Youth Department (18 yrs old & above), Ladies Auxiliary Department (for married ladies) and Apostolic Men's Fellowship (for married gentlemen). Also, there are numerous ministries which the members can involve themselves in. The United Pentecostal Church of Tondo is really a special place for everyone. This is where strangers become friends, and friends become a family.

NCRD Section 2 gathered its Sunday School teachers for a day of workshops, fellowship, team-building, and spiritual encouragement.

The day gave our teachers time to learn, connect, laugh, and be reminded of the purpose behind the work they faithfully do every Sunday.

A meaningful part of the Congress was the message of our guest speaker, Bishop Nomer Trinidad, who also shared a part of his own ministry journey—how his work in ministry began through teaching children in UPC Tondo.

The rest of the day was filled with moments of learning and fun—from the Human Maze, Clap & Tap, and Battle Cry, to good food and fellowship. Another memorable highlight was the activity on five real-life scenarios and challenges faced by Sunday School teachers, where teams shared ideas, discussed possible responses, and learned from one another.

Special thanks to our NCRD Section 2 Sunday School leaders, together with our Section 2 Presbyter, J. Raymundo, for leading and making this gathering possible. And to every Sunday School teacher who continues to give your time, energy, and heart to this ministry—a salute to all of you for the hard work you do, week after week.
