𝐈𝐂𝐘𝐌𝐈 | 𝐏𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟕𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐢𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐉𝐮𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐞 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲
In solemn celebration of 75 years of God’s faithfulness and grace, the Archdiocesan Shrine and Parish of Nuestra Señora del Perpetuo Socorro gathered last September 12, 2026 for a Pontifical Mass commemorating the 75th Jubilee Anniversary of our parish community.
The Holy Mass was presided over by Most Rev. Jose Fuerte Cardinal Advincula, D.D., Archbishop of Manila, who, in his homily, challenged the faithful to embrace the radical “fiat”, a wholehearted “yes” to caring for God and for one another.
A significant moment of the celebration was the formal opening of the Jubilee Door, marking this special season of grace and renewal for our parish. During the celebration, the Decree granting the Papal Blessing and Plenary Indulgence was also solemnly read by Rev. Fr. Antonio B. Navarrete, Jr., Parish Priest and Shrine Rector.
The Archbishop further reminded us of the challenge of this 75th Parish Er****on Anniversary: to grow from Perpetual Asking to Perpetual Giving. This is not only our Jubilee challenge but also the heart of a Synodal Church, a Church that walks together, listens, cares, and generously gives of herself in service.
May the Inang Perpetuo Socorro continue to accompany us as we enter this new chapter, inspiring us to live our own “fiat” of care and become a parish community that gives, serves, and loves.
75 years of grace. 75 years of faith. 75 years of service. And now, a renewed “fiat” to care and give.
