As we welcome the New Liturgical Calender of the Church. We are now entering Advent Season where we prepare the birth of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Today is the ligthing of the first candle which is Hope. May we have Hope in our everyday lives just like what the Lord is hoping to see us in eternal life. Praise be Jesus Christ. Now and Forever. THE SEASONS OF THE LITURGICAL YEAR

The liturgical year is a sacred journey that guides us through the mysteries of Christ's life, death, and resurrection. Through its various seasons, the Church invites us to deepen our faith, cultivate spiritual growth, and worship God with reverence and devotion.

• Advent- Christ is Coming
• Christmas- Christ is Born
• Ordinary Time- Jesus Teaches
• Lent- Jesus Calls for Conversion
• Paschal Triduum- Christ Suffers and Died on the Cross, and is Risen
• Easter- Christ is Risen and Ascended to Heaven
• Pentecost- Holy Spirit Descends (End of Easter Season)
• Ordinary Time- Living the Faith
• Christ the King- Jesus Reigns Supreme (End of the Liturgical Year)

As we walk through the liturgical year, we are drawn into the paschal mystery, where Christ's life, death, and resurrection become our own story of salvation. May this sacred journey deepen our devotion to Christ, inspire our hearts, and guide us in our walk with Him.

Viva Cristo Rey!

St. Anselm of Canterbury warns that certainty of salvation lies in avoiding the path of the majority. As St. Augustine affirms, “If you wish to imitate the multitude, then you shall not be among the few.” Most souls are lost because they follow comfort, not the Cross. To be saved, one must choose the narrow way few dare walk.

Today, we honor and celebrate all fathers — biological, spiritual, and father figures — whose love, strength, and quiet sacrifices shape our lives and families. As we give thanks to our fathers, we also turn to St. Joseph, the humble and faithful protector of the Holy Family. May his example inspire all fathers to lead with courage, to work with integrity, and to love with a heart rooted in God.

Holy Trinity, One God, have mercy on us

JUNE 15, 2025 | Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity

Prayer

O God, Thou who art one in nature and three in persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, first cause and last end of all creatures, the infinite Good, incomprehensible and ineffable, my Creator, my Redeemer, and my Sanctifier, I believe in Thee, I hope in Thee, and I love Thee with all my heart.
In the midst of Thine infinite happiness, Thou didst choose me, through no merits of mine, in preference to countless other creatures, who would doubtless have corresponded with Thy blessings better than I have done; Thou didst love me from eternity; and when my hour in time had come, Thou didst draw me from nothingness into earthly existence and didst bestow upon me Thy grace, as a pledge of everlasting life.
From the depths of my misery, I adore Thee and I give Thee thanks. Thy holy Name was invoked over my cradle to be my profession of faith, my plan of action, and the only goal of my earthly pilgrimage; grant, O most Holy Trinity, that I may ever be inspired by this faith, and may carry out this plan with perseverance, so that, when I have reached the end of my journey upon earth, I may be able to fix my gaze upon the blessed splendours of Thy glory.
Amen.
