LOOK: The image of our Patroness, Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary of the University of Santo Tomas, was enthroned earlier today at the UST Quadricentennial Pavilion for the 2026 Baccalaureate Mass. Before the Eucharistic Celebration, the graduating class of 2026 prayed the Act of Entrustment to the Blessed Virgin Mary. The traditional flower offering for the month of May was conducted afterwards.

Prayerful Congratulations to the Graduating Class of 2026! May Our Lady continue to shower her maternal protection to you whatever path you may take.

13 May | Our Lady of Fatima

“Pray the rosary everyday to obtain peace for the world.”

On May 13, 1917, Lucia dos Santos (aged 10) and her cousins Francisco and Jacinta Marto (aged 8 and 6, respectively) were tending sheep in central Portugal, about 113 km (70 miles) northeast of Lisbon, when they purportedly had a vision of a woman surrounded by light who identified herself as the Lady of the Rosary. Following the initial event, the children reported seeing the vision five more times, once each month through October. During her appearances, Our Lady of Fátima supposedly gave the children three secrets and repeatedly exhorted them to pray the rosary for world peace and emphasized the necessity of devotions to her Immaculate Heart in order for souls to be saved. The children also said that she told them God would perform a miracle on October 13 so that people would believe. A crowd estimated at about 70,000 gathered at Fátima on that day and witnessed what has been described as a miraculous solar phenomenon in which the Sun appeared to fall toward Earth—sometimes called the Miracle of the Sun—immediately after the lady’s final appearance to the children.
