Bilang pagtatapos ng mga debosyon at pagdiriwang para sa Mahal na Birhen sa buwan ng Mayo, buong galak na ginanap ang Santacruzan sa Maligayang Nayon ng Gagalangin. Ang makulay at makahulugang prusisyon na ito ay hindi lamang pagpapakita ng kagandahan at tradisyon, kundi isang buhay na paggunita sa paghahanap at pagkakatagpo ni Santa Elena sa Banal na Krus ni Kristo.

Sa paglahok ng mga sagala at kasama sa prusisyon, muling naipamalas ang mayamang pananampalataya at debosyong maka-Maria ng sambayanan. Ang bawat larawan at simbolo sa Santacruzan ay nagsisilbing paalala ng mga birtud na dapat tularan ng bawat Kristiyanoβ€”pananampalataya, kababaang-loob, katapatan, at pag-ibig sa Diyos.

Nawa’y ang pagdiriwang na ito ay magpatuloy na maging daan upang mapalalim ang ating debosyon sa Mahal na Birhen at higit na mailapit tayo kay Kristo. Sa pagtatapos ng Buwan ng Flores de Maria, nawa’y manatili sa ating mga puso ang mga biyayang natanggap at ang inspirasyong mamuhay bilang tunay na mga saksi ng pananampalataya.

As we begin the month of June, let us unite with the Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV, in praying for the value of sports in our world today. More than a pursuit of victory, sports can become a powerful instrument of peace, encounter, and dialogue among peoples and nations. Through healthy competition, individuals learn the virtues of respect, discipline, teamwork, solidarity, and perseverance.

May athletes, coaches, sports leaders, and all who participate in sporting activities become witnesses of friendship, integrity, and mutual understanding. As we offer this intention in prayer, may sports continue to build bridges between cultures, foster personal growth, and help create a more peaceful and united human family.

As we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity, let us reflect on three essential truths of our Catholic faith. First, the Holy Trinity is one God in three Divine Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Though distinct from one another, they are not three gods but one God, sharing the same divine nature and glory.

Second, the Holy Trinity reveals that God is a communion of perfect love. The eternal relationship of love between the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit serves as a model for how we are called to liveβ€”with unity, charity, and self-giving love toward one another. Lastly, the mystery of the Trinity is not distant from our daily lives. From our Baptism to every Sign of the Cross, we are continually reminded that we belong to God and are called to live as His faithful children. May this great mystery deepen our faith and draw us ever closer to the Father, through the Son, in the Holy Spirit.

On this Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity, we contemplate the mystery of one God in three Personsβ€”Father, Son, and Holy Spiritβ€”united in perfect love and communion. In a world where relationships are often tested by distance, misunderstanding, and change, the Trinity reveals a love that remains faithful and steadfast. As Fr. Paul Henry B. Bocboc beautifully reflects, β€œSometimes, the deepest love is shown not in leaving, but in staying.” God’s love is a constant presence that accompanies us through every joy, struggle, and uncertainty. Through the Trinity, we are reminded that authentic love perseveres and remains.

The feast of the Holy Trinity invites us to reflect that we are created not for isolation, but for communion with God and with one another. Just as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit dwell in perfect unity, we are called to build relationships rooted in faithfulness, understanding, and self-giving love. May we learn to stay with those entrusted to us, especially in moments when love requires patience, sacrifice, and commitment. In doing so, we become living reflections of the God who never ceases to remain with His people.

Sa pagdiriwang ng Dakilang Kapistahan ng Pentekostes, muling ginunita ng sambayanan ng St. Joseph Parish, Gagalangin ang pagbaba ng Espiritu Santo sa Mahal na Birheng Maria at sa mga Apostolβ€”ang katuparan ng pangako ni Kristo sa Kanyang Simbahan. Sa pamamagitan ng apoy ng Espiritu Santo, ang mga disipulo ay napuspos ng lakas ng loob at pananampalataya upang ipahayag ang Mabuting Balita sa buong sanlibutan.

Sa Ebanghelyo, pinaaalalahanan tayo na ang Espiritu Santo ang ating gabay, tagapagbigay-lakas, at tagapagpanibago ng ating pananampalataya. Ang Pentekostes ay hindi lamang paggunita sa isang pangyayari, kundi paanyaya sa bawat Kristiyano na hayaang kumilos ang Espiritu Santo sa ating buhay upang tayo’y maging mga tunay na saksi ng pag-ibig, kapayapaan, at pagkakaisa.

Nawa’y sa pagdiriwang na ito, patuloy tayong mapuspos ng biyaya ng Espiritu Santo upang maging matatag sa pananampalataya at masigasig sa paglilingkod sa Diyos at sa kapwa. Tulad ng mga Apostol, nawa’y magkaroon tayo ng pusong handang tumugon sa tawag ng Panginoon at ipahayag si Kristo sa ating mga salita at gawa.

May is also the month for Mental Health Awarenessβ€”a reminder that caring for one’s mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being is important. Even some of the saints experienced moments of deep sadness, loneliness, fear, and spiritual struggles. Yet through faith, prayer, and trust in God, they continued to persevere in the midst of suffering. Their stories remind us that struggles do not define a person’s worth, and that hope can still be found even in life’s darkest moments.

May these saints inspire us to remain hopeful and faithful amid life’s trials, and may we always remember that seeking help, comfort, and support is never a sign of weakness. Your mental health matters, and no one should suffer alone. Let us continue to pray for all who are struggling emotionally, mentally, and spiritually, that they may find comfort, strength, healing, and hope in Christ and in the love of the people around them.

Today, the Church lovingly honors the Blessed Virgin Mary under the title, Mary, Mother of the Church. Entrusted by Christ to His disciples at the foot of the Cross, Mary continues to embrace the faithful with a mother’s care, guiding the Church closer to her Son through prayer, humility, and unwavering faith.

As Mother of the Church, the Blessed Virgin remains a source of comfort, hope, and unity for all Christians. In moments of trial and uncertainty, she reminds us to trust in God’s will and remain steadfast in discipleship. May her maternal intercession continue to strengthen the Church throughout the world and lead every heart closer to Jesus Christ.
