This anniversary is more than an event. It’s a celebration of every prayer God answered, every life He changed, every family He restored, and every testimony He has written through the years - including yours. ✨

On October 10, 2026, we gather not just to remember what God has done, but to believe Him for what is still ahead. As one church, one body, one in Christ.

A Life of Faithfulness and Quiet Strength
In Loving Honor of Sis. Karis Santiago-Yumang

Sis. Karis lived a life that quietly pointed others to Christ.

From an early age, Sis. Karis served the Lord through the Children's Ministry of JIL Pasig. Through the years, she took on many roles in the ministry, including as Elyondoulos Head, a VIA member, Worship Leader, and Movenerate dancer in JIL Main.

As the MIS Division Head of Jesus Is Lord Church Worldwide for more than 20 years, Sis. Karis faithfully led the development and oversight of the Church's information systems, serving with wisdom, diligence, and integrity. She also served on the Church Management Team of JIL Prayer Garden and led the JIL Social Media Team, reflecting the same unwavering commitment to honor God through every ministry entrusted to her.

Those of us who had the privilege of serving alongside Sis. Karis will always remember how she seemed to be two steps ahead. She anticipated needs, thought through every detail, and prepared with wisdom because she believed that every task entrusted to us deserved our very best. She often reminded those who served with her that the ministry belongs to the Lord, and that serving Him is a privilege. That simple truth shaped the way she led. It kept her humble, faithful, and always focused on giving God the glory.

Whether serving behind the scenes or leading others, Sis. Karis could always be counted on. She worked closely with pastors, supported those around her, and carried every responsibility with grace and genuine care. She was objective in leadership, yet compassionate in heart. To many, she was not only a respected leader, but also a trusted friend and a beloved sister in Christ.

Beyond every ministry she faithfully carried, her greatest joy was her family. She loved them deeply and cared for them with unwavering devotion.

Today, we join together in praying for Bro. Romel Yumang and Audrey, for her parents Bro. Ivan and Sis. Yolly Santiago, for her sisters Sis. Karmi and Sis. Karen, and for Bro. Zham. May the God of all comfort surround each of you with His love and peace. (2 Corinthians 1:3-4)

Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we do not grieve as those who have no hope. Our hope is in Jesus Christ, in His life, death, and resurrection. Because He lives, we look forward to the glorious day when we will be reunited in His presence.

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7

“Well done, good and faithful servant.” Matthew 25:23

Our dear Sis. Karis, thank you for a life of quiet strength, unwavering faith, and selfless service.

JILCW honors you, loves you, and celebrates the legacy you leave behind. Until we meet again in the presence of our Lord.
