At that time, on the day of the feast when unleavened bread was eaten, the disciples came to Jesus and said, Where do you want us to prepare the Passover meal?.
Jesus answered, “Go into the city to this man’s house and tell him, ‘The Teacher commands you to say, ‘My hour is near, and I want to celebrate the Passover with my disciples in your house.”
The disciples did as Jesus instructed them and prepared the Passover.
Mateo 26, 17 -19
Easter was Israel's most important holiday, commemorating, among other things, the liberation of Egypt's chains from slavery.
It was the most solemn night of the year.
The center of the feast was the Passover Dinner, and the center of the dinner was the lamb, which was eaten with bitter herbs in memory of the bitter suffering Israel suffered in the years of captivity.
All these regulations would be strictly fulfilled by Jesus.
On this Easter scenario, the poor man would have to perform on this "night of nights" the most fantastic unfolding of mysteries.
Any attempt to describe the heart of Jesus would be useless..
In the vast desert that opens to the sight of your soul you could distinguish, under a joyful and truly Easter blue, stones bled by pain and love.
Jesus believed in the beauty of pain when it is imbued with love, he believed in ultimate compassion because it took on the burden of grieving humanity.
The moon queen of the night, had peeked out to witness the mysteries of the "night per excellence".
The meeting was almost secret, it was not a meeting characterized by solemnity, it was not an idyllic atmosphere, but an atmosphere charged with tension, crossed by beams of light that would illuminate the night with red flashes like the announcement of Judas' betrayal with the challenging question: will it be me, Is it possible, Master?.
After hearing Judas’ last words, the Poor Man of Nazareth plunged into the silence of his abyss and got lost in the vast horizons of the Father.
Born in the cradle of pain, foreigner in his own homeland, Prophet persecuted by his people, it is not his right now but to be thrown out of life, in the Holocaust of the "Great Liberation", made Absolute Poor in Absolute Love.
